seekelvin, i not rich la. because i dont see much people doing xpro on expired negs so i just wanna try it out and see whats the result ma. spend a little bit and gain experience, ok what.
exkay, i got those expired negs (all fuji superia) from a camera shop in centerpoint bandar utama (stupid expensive shop, bad service, not recommended), a small mall close to 1Utama. there's still lots of asa100 (36 exposures) and asa200 (12 exposures) ones selling at 50% which is like RM5 or 6 i think which is still kind of expensive. the only price i can remember is kodak T-Max asa400 cost me RM16. Doomsday, i might join the event if i can somehow manage to finish off some of my assignments. |

QUOTE(exkay @ Apr 7 2007, 04:19 AM) T-Max? why are u shoooting on T-Max? i mean, do u know u can't develop it in normal shops? yes yes, i know T-Max cant be develop in normal shops. i have projects with black and white films. same as you, i have to develop and print it on my own. still have 1 extra roll of it. how expired are those negs? how long have they been expired? it's interesting to see the outcome... u know what.. i think the wait and anticipation while waiting for our films to be develop is very exciting, you don't get this feeling anymore for digital photography... sad isn't it? the 100asa one expired on january 2007 while the 200asa ones expired november 2006. i'm dying to know how this roll is going to look like. since i have never seen any expired negs xpro'ed before, makes me even more curious and eager to know the results. |

ahh, sorry for the late update. was a bit caught up on work. developed it in fotosun ss2 for RM16. but dont know if the guy charged me accordingly. seems a little too cheap for the price of xpros.

QUOTE(juzannies @ Jan 20 2009, 01:53 PM) hiyes everyone! if its all white with no black spots at all then someone must have screwed up the processing and exposed the whole film to light, or the film is broken and light had already seeped in and exposed the whole film. anyhoo, nothing can be done and with lomo you just have to keep shooting away to get the correct exposure. soooo, keep shooting and dont be afraid of wasting some film, hehe. its all good cause you learn from previous mistakes and shoot better the next time around. i juz bought my Holga lomo last week. and the sad thing was tat i develop me 1st film and the next day when i go and pick it up (wit full of happiness cuz i finally can see the pics) and i was told that there's nothing inside the film!!! the lady show me the film and its ALL WHITE! the whole negative became whole thing WHITE! do anyone know whats wrong with it? Currently am shooting with the 2nd film, not yet finish and hopefully this film will turn out perfectly. /edits wait i think im wrong here lol, do you hear your shutter clicking? you're shooting on negatives right? if thats the case then the whole roll of film is not even exposed when you sent them for processing.
