I'm planning to get a Lomo LC-A. It's a used one, just wanted to know how much the film costs and also the cost to develop the photos and get the scanned ones to upload to PC.
And also, is it better to get a LC-A+ ??

QUOTE(yestrdy @ Apr 26 2011, 01:37 PM) LC-A / LC-A+ / LC-A+RL is using 35mm, so the cost is depends on the shop. Cost for developing a roll of film vary from RM 4 / roll to RM 15 / roll. Depends on what shop you go. Scanned price is the same, from RM 2 to RM 20. And if you have your own scanner, you already saved a lot of money Woah the LC-A+ costs RM960 from TheClickShop. What about the Holga135/135bc? Do you know anything about those?Hrm, if you have the money, go buy LC-A+. The good thing LC-A+ is that it have 1600 ISO/ASA option and LC-A+ have MX setting, LC-A don't.. P/S: MX = Multiple Expose.. Just thought maybe I should start off with something simple and cheap. QUOTE(yestrdy @ Apr 26 2011, 03:40 PM) Haha, yes, LCA+ is kinda expensive Thanks for your help Holga 135 and 135BC is recommended. Since holga is really easy to operate, load the film and just shoot P/S: BC stands for Black Corners = vignette. |

Or you just want to unload and hang on to it until you have a few rolls to develop?i did some search and found out tat i actually need to unload the film in a dark room. anyone have experience in doing this? how am i suppose to know if the room is dark enuf to unload the film?? thank you |

What sort of film should i get for my Holga 135? I read somewhere that ISO 400 film gives better colour. And if i want to develop the film, can i just unload it anywhere and take it to the shop?

QUOTE(yoong @ Apr 27 2011, 08:35 PM) Fuji Superias are cheap and quite saturated in colors. If you really want colors, nothing beats the slides like Velvia. Expired films are film past their shelf expiry date. Depending how they are kept, they can give variable results. Google and see. I see, and if i want to transfer the pictures to my PC, do i scan the developed photos or the negatives? Or is it the same thing? This post has been edited by a.d.d.i.c.t.e.d: Apr 27 2011, 11:32 PM |
