just drop iva,  matic and pedro replaced them with baba and mikel and Kennedy.  we will win.
*
I think the reluctance to use Baba is his lack of defence capabilities. A pushover sometimes against PL players.
Getting a fullback would be great, either left or right, so that Zouma can concentrate on CB position and goals conceded will be less

the funny thing is youth players always wanna come to chelsea even if they know that it almost impossible to break into the first team.
*
I think our youth academy facilities and training banyak bagus, thats why (due to Abra's heavy investment). So youth players wanna come and be developed no matter they will end up playing for Chelsea first team or not..

Not only arsenal, even west ham has come up with good youth player.

i din watch much of chelsea games but.. is Pedro good?

what i rmb was watching him dribbling back to own area and gave opponent a corner.. i duno what was he thinking.. doh.gif
*
So far decent but nothing to shout about. I think he's not been used properly. Pedro is an out & out winger, in Barca/Spain he stays in the opposition half and is very attack minded. Now here he has to track back, cut inside and switch places with Willian/Oscar/Hazard etc throughout the game, so not really his style of play. Either that or his heart still at Barca, not 100% committed, i dont know sweat.gif sweat.gif

QUOTE(epsonstylux @ Jan 27 2016, 07:32 AM)
Seems like he is a striker who likes to try first time and that is good for me. We havent had someone who can shoot whenever we got the chance..

One thing that worries me is the passes that he get isnt anything like chelsea. Our team doesnt really do through ball anymore. Short pass here and there, but nobody try to shoot. And by the look of the video pato seems to be enjoying a lot of through ball, direct passes instead of working his way in.

I think he has a 50/50 chance to succeed in chelsea
*
I think in recent games under Hiddink we have more through balls played in to Costa, which has bring us more goals (against CP, Everton, Arsenal). So maybe Hiddink will push the team to make direct passes even more after Pato joins.

QUOTE(dynames07 @ Jan 27 2016, 08:22 AM)
With the game against Arsenal is now completed, what worries me next is the re-integration of Hazard back into the team. While this may seem like a good news, in my opinion, it MIGHT disrupt the way the team is playing now.

During the short introduction against Arsenal, the dilly-dallying style is still there. Why is this bad? He allow the defender to get back into position and at the same time, might waste the runs made by other player. Although he is eager to be involved, I really hope the reintroduction of Hazard will not be a step backward for the team.
*
This may cause the direct passing regime i mention earlier to be affected though, lol biggrin.gif

But if Fab continues his good form, strikers should find it easier.

he's still 28, he still can offer a lot more. he's not drogba age when he went to China league.
too early to think about "retirement"
*
Maybe no more appetite for competition. Won PL, CC, FA Cup, UCL, Europa, even Community Shield also sudah menang. Nothing else to collect for his medal cabinet.

still can opt for la liga, serie a or bundesliga.
going to china is like a "retirement" announcement.

He knows PL is the best league biggrin.gif biggrin.gif
Rami seems like a laid-back person (of course i don't know him, just based on his social media and interviews). So far he has always given 100% on the pitch whenever called upon but has never complained nor seem unhappy being on the bench. Maybe he never was such a player who strives to fight to be among the best, just happy all along (like our legend Mikel). He certainly had his highs in Chelsea and achieved everything in fact. Maybe looking for week-in week-out 1st team football guarantee with no stress at all. He should be pwning teams in China, lol.

To be our main or backup striker?both also i dont agree unless costa gonna left us because i know he will not come in cheap. Plus striker without anyone capable off feeding delicious pass to our striker also useless. Better get someone who can deliver ball to our striker 1st. My 2cent only

He should be fine. Not bad tactically and not bad man-management too (Tevez, Pogba, Balo). Ancelotti also only managed Italian teams before coming to Chelsea. So far out Italian managers (Lotti & Ranieri) not bad too. So keeping optimistic, but as u said, no high expectations

Stones will cost us a lot. With new financial backing at goodison, it will cost us even more. I dont really fancy stones btw.
*
Don't really fancy him too. Hope the board doesn't forget about the amount of CBs we have - Zouma, Cahill, Kalas, Miazga, Hector etc. Rather we have Iva as CB and get a new RB/LB than to get another CB. Even then we already have Azpi and Baba, not forgetting Ake who is starting every game at Watford.
Right now I think midfield is the problem - Oscar Willian and the likes are AMs who run with/without the ball. We need midfield distributors, right now only have Fab. RLC i think he is more of AM/running type. Need a Gerrard/Pirlo type of Midfielder

Baba really tak boleh eh, need to get Ake back from Watford next season if we're not buying anyone.
Don't understand Guus's obsession with Matic-Mikel combo. So far never worked once.
Oscar needs to be benched please.
Rlc looked clueless when he came on. Defend abit attack abit. I think he was supposed to play no10, but oscar and willian like to cut in to the middle, so he was pushed back, but there were Mikel/Matic/fab there. Should've brought off oscar instead, or bring on Pato, something to worry stoke

Biggest difference last night IMO was in the attacking department.
Defense for both sides were shaky, but PSG were decisive in final third passing while our players seem to start thinking of what to do only after we reached their final third.
This is down to coaching i think, but not Hiddink's fault. Hiddink is interim, while in PSG's case Blanc has been training the players with his attacking strategy for a few seasons and they can execute their attack more confidently. Unlike us always seem clueless in attack - managerial stability very important, not only on player's emotion, but on team tactics and performance also. Change tactics every season with new manager susah la to build a cohesive team

QUOTE(epsonstylux @ Mar 10 2016, 12:06 PM)
I think the current Chelsea not only is lack of leader.

They lack of fighters.

As you said, Drogba, Lamps, JT, Cech, they were not only leaders they are fighters. They know what they want, and they fight for it, they have the winner mentality. And thus, other players become great just by sharing the same room with them. Current Chelsea team is full of "wonderkid" and that suits them well. Kids.

Not happy with manager, dont want to play properly. Already win a league, ok that's enough attitude.
No wonder Mourinho not happy. I think if it is up to him, he'd sell half of the squad.
*
Which is why i'm always unhappy when seeing all foreign players in our lineup. We need homegrown players who have heart for the club. Not to say that all foreign players have no heart (Drog, Cech, Ballack, Essien etc), but we need new Mr Chelsea's (and they can be foreign not necessarily HG) in our team. So far players who look like they would really fight for the club are only Courtouis, Kenedy, Willian & Costa.
Back then even tho ppl always only talk bout Cech Terry Lamps and Drog, we should not forget the other fighters like Cole, Luiz, Iva (back then), Essien, Ballack, Mata or even Torres who always play like Chelsea is their home, now all gone sudah..

Used to see Iva's image in Kalas, but long time din see him dy, tak tau sudah apa macam sweat.gif
Right now for CB (include loan) we have Cahill, Zouma, JT, Iva, Miazga, Hector, Kalas, Christensen, Papy.. 9 of them. Who would you guys like to see us use next season?
I like Cahill, Zouma, Kalas, Miazga, maybe Papy for backup
