Guus for one more season would be okay la, but I'm worried that maybe our transfer targets won't want to come to play under Guus because he is not seen as a long term managerial prospect for them.

Plus I'm sure Roman would want a big name manager because he wants to compete with our rivals etc....Citeh - Pep/ Arsenal - Whinger/ Man U - Mourinho/ Liv - Klopp. No offense to Guus (Done a great job so far as the Interim), but I can't see top players wanting to join us to play under him next season. He doesn't strike me as a world class manager or a ''winner'' Just a decent short term manager to control a team that are in a crisis, his calmness attitude is his biggest asset as a Manager.

Allegri or Conte would be the ideal manager for us, I welcome the change of direction in our club if we were to appoint one of  them as our long term manager. I feel like Simeone's managerial style is too close with Mou, plus he is controversy af.

I wish we can call Uncle Lotti back to take the job again for the second time, missed him so much  cry.gif

agree on the point on Guus. however, we also have nothing to offer to incoming player. we can only be in next season CL if we win the competition this year. we might probably lose in the Europa placement as well. we can argue this season might happen once in a blue moon and won't happen again next season. but still, next season is only for domestic campaign.

andrea pirlo made a very significant note in his remark towards conte. if you are getting him as manager but at the same time try to force your decision on him, then he is not for you. i hope roman (and perhaps emenalo on transfer business) can take note on this.

very poor performance from baba rahman. i rated him quite ok in the game against PSG but since then, there is no consistency in his performances. this is the kind of games / chances that you got to prove yourself worthy of the starting point.

and i also agree that there are a lot of chance to deliver the cross, especially from willian and hazard. but the only one doing so right now is azpi. looking for a much improve performance in the 2nd half.

poor game in term of the aesthetic but a massive showcase of desire and attitude to win the game, both by the players and manager. introduction of kennedy breathe fresh air into the team and somehow, he looks to be the wildcard to worry soton's defense with the sudden run from deep and the license to shoot from afar.

now we know why baba rahman is always on the bench and i think against norwich, kennedy deserve to be in the starting lineup.

IMO, our neighbor's meltdown this time around is much more serious. With our team playing like shiat all season (generally speaking), man city losing their winning aura and man utd drowned in their own philosophy, this is really their chance to get their hands on the EPL title. Still a lot of games left for them but if they fail to win it, maybe need to forget about winning the EPL when Pep is in contention for it starting next season.

As for us, we still at the very least need to salvage the club's image as best as we can so that we can still attract big players to our club.

as for Baba, he got 2 direction after this. either he succumb to his error and continue to be a below par player OR, he can buckled up, train hard and prove himself again to the team. sometimes, great players are born from this kind of mistake and i really hope Baba can rise to greater heights!

can shut down the tv/streaming already. the team got no more teeth when diego is off... we do show a lot of desire before that though but the goal from ibra kills the game...

on positive note, i think kennedy performed well. he did not do any mistake in this game. totally earned his starting berth in the lineup today.

poor defending is the main theme of our defeat today. no explanation can be made on why cahill peeled away from ibra for the first goal and the carelessness of azpi cost the 2nd goal...

on attacking side, at time we are overplaying things... want things to look fancy etc.. . not to mention some of our attackers at times turn invincible. you know who i meant...

you see kennedy's face.. that is the hunger to prove something which often missing from the seniors..
