Yesterday took mine is alway over overexposed.
Cause I set to 30sec.

After look at here, they used very minimum shutter speed only.

You can't follow everything to the T since everytime and everywhere the conditions will be different.
The usual rule for shutter speed is don't go over your focal length/500 to avoid star trails. Unless that's what you want.
ISO levels you can set after some test shots to get what you want.

Thank you but I don't understand why should I zoom in to the max since I am looking to shoot wide angle hmm.gif

So that your starts are sharp dots. If not they become balls of light instead. Kinda like bokeh balls but small ones...

I just don't like the fact that the viewfinder is not operational when live view is set. wink.gif

great article i found

higher ISO ≠ more relative noise

your ISO doesn't affect the amount of noise on your image, it's your exposure time that affects the most. So bump up your ISO as much

Just for fun, I'm trying to process light polluted milky way shots but I'm terrible at this. Anyone willing to help? So far I can only make it almost show up, barely. tongue.gif I know I lack of proper lens but you know, just for fun.
