By the way, for this kind of non-smart TV, how to make it smart or run like a computer? Make sense to pair it with devices like the Intel compute stick or Chromecast for Youtube/Netflix/Iflix?

It's good that it can play files directly from USB and hopefully it supports a wide range of codec.

Any display that can accept HDMI, DVI, VGA input considered can run as computer monitor.

For Youtube/Netflix/Iflix, Chromecast is your best bet.
But, actually many cheap Bluray Player from Samsung/Sony/Panasonic do support these streaming features too (Youtube/Netflix/iFlix), works like Chromecast, with added Bluray Playback capability.

Bluray player guarantee has much better codec support, especially those Dolby and DTS surround sound format, and support for better subtitle display too.
It depend on budget la, but pricing wise will come down quickly, given many Android TV or Smart TV has these similar built in feature.

No hard feelings at all. I personally find it not useful, so it's likely the same for the rest of you here too. I think credit card also can give similar discount %, with lower min spend. Besides that, it's hard to "transfer" coupon ownership too. Just tried my luck while lurking around at 11st.... tongue.gif

I think there are at least 3 different RN3 sellers on G5 now, only 1 carries the high-spec Silver. On the high-spec Silver, doesn't it look odd that they have the stock and not even Mi Malaysia has it?

The RM849 (3GB + 32GB) version. There's a lower spec RM749 (2GB + 16GB) but i guess most ppl are interested in the high-spec version.
