Hisense 50" TV HMLED50D36 - RM 1438 before tv20. is it worth it? with 1 year manufacturer warranty.

It's either this or the 4k 42' with the same price
Bought the 50' one since 1080p is enough and 4k might take a while to be mainstream (4k blurays starting this year/netflix streaming). And I don't even have any 4k rips, most of my movies are still 720p.

Plug in Android stick like firetv and there you have a 'smart' tv.
2 hdmi ports might be a limitation though if you have a bunch of devices to plug in, unless you're using hdmi extender.

how long have you been using this tv? so far so good? actually i am more concern on the warranty itself. 1 year is good enough? is there any chance to upgrade the warranty during the purchase?

Just received it last week, so far working nicely
I haven't asked yet to hisense if warranty can still be upgraded

what format was that? so far i never fail to play my movie content but never bother to look at the format..
but my movies mostly in mkv, avi, mp4 format. never tried rmvb though coz never like kpop. haha
