My laptop model Dell HD 7559 i5 960m. Stock ram is 4gm then i added samsung ddr3l 4gb. I experience the lag when copying or installing files. The lag is like you're using intel pentium 1.0ghz. Can someone tell me what's wrong? Is it related with my windows 10 not activated yet(waiting for m.2 ssd to arrive from courier)? Or the rpm of hard drive is too slow 5400 rpm and it's normal? If more information is required in order to diagnose the problem do tell me about it.
Updated : Problem still not solved when i installed WIndows 10 WITHOUT Key on EUFI mode. Maybe it's related to the Windows key. No problem after i installed WIndows 10 with key on SSD M.2.

check your hdd health using crystaldiskinfo http://crystalmark.info/software/CrystalDi...fo/index-e.html

5.4k rpm is normal for a laptop hdd, especially budget ones.

WebWalker will be coming in here soon talking nonsense about Windows 10

On another note, make sure all the drivers is installed
And if there is a BIOS update for your laptop, make sure you apply it

I believe UEFI is available on your laptop, so make sure to use UEFI instead of the legacy BIOS to fully utilize your laptop's performance
If your current Windows is installed through legacy BIOS, you may have to reformat again

To install Windows 10 through UEFI, you need to prepare the USB installer in GPT partition table, not MBR

Go here:
http://www.windowscentral.com/how-create-w...sb-installation

I'm using the same method

Don't use Windows 7 USB/DVD Download Tool
That won't work on UEFI as Windows 7 USB/DVD Download Tool formats the pendrive as MBR, not GPT

click start > type system information > check BIOS mode is UEFI or not
if yes you are good to go
if not download rufus (google it), set like the attachment photo, and install when your ssd arrive
as for your lag probably you need to explain more, I am using same laptop with you, have been used it almost 1 month no lag at all
*have been used it without ssd for 1 week, then install ssd whistling.gif

Remember, when you pick the ISO image from your hard drive, the partition scheme setting might turn back to MBR
If that happens, just switch it manually to GPT partition scheme for UEFI before you press Start
