Hi,

I hardly known any good worksmanship for audio system, could you guys recommend or name few good shops in Malacca? Thanks.

From what I know,there are only 2 good ones in Melaka.They are:

AG Accessories - Malim Jaya
Boeing Accessories - Jln Ong Kim Wee

There's one more shop that I was told sells higher end products but workmanship is so-so:
Hi-power Accessories - Melaka Baru

Acctually mlk dun hv good acc for audio if compare wif KL.
but there r still few quite ok lah!
u can try the Ong Kim Wee as D_Y2k.4^ state.

There is 1 at lorong pandan, tis guy ONLY do 4 audio wiring, setup n tuning. The $ quite exp, but the workmanship ok.

hahahaha ...I can say the same for ipoh also, just came back from there.....

but other overall car accessories stuff there are cheaper if compared to penang though.....but if want to look for ICE stuff in ipoh, perhaps not the right place to look for though....

Ipoh only got the NCCA (name something like that la) got sale SQ stuft (Morel, Helix, Rockford Fosgate)..other than that all SPL..

For Melaka baru, how about Leaders ?

As what you guys mentioned, go for Boeing accessories at Ong Kim Wee ...

dude try go to duyung..there hav 1 audio shop,their service r more good,better than another audio shopz in malacca..oh ya bout da wiring n ice system,they will giv u da best price,prefer on ur budget dude..

I was quite unfortunate as I was treated like a guinea pig which I believe it's their 1st Myvi they have done. Haha ....

err...my ICE system, to me it's acceptable since it's only 70% tune ... not fully tune yet coz it's getting too late and I need to rush back to do something, will be continue next Tuesday.

However, I am satisfy with it, but then still need ICE expert to hear it in order to comment.

I have surveyed again the place forumer recommended, AJ Accessories, fully speaker business ... Selling very high end speakers, quite professional, slightly expensive, won trophies for the best sound system, sigh~ ... Even imitation product he also able to differentiate, my god ...

nop, selling original all the while ... reputable company ... won awards and so on, so I dont think they dare to sell fake stuff ... if me, Im not going to ruin my good name ...

yes, AG accessories near BRoTHERS, the shop seems to be small but their quality and professionalism is there ... I think they wanna keep low profile ...

i beg your pardon, i have heard a full SQ Rockford setup in a Toyota Altis. Winner for SQ category in one of the year for IASCA competition if i'm not mistaken. He used to be an installer in Uptown Damansara.

erm... i think SQ is not jus about the brand and stuff... to me its how the system sound... so tuning is the most important thing... not the brands... so even a guy with a stock HU can win in a SQ category IF his overall system tuning, installations are done right... its not always about the brand....

r u telling me ur statement saying RF is not SQ shows that u have a wider knowledge in ice world ? wat a joke ! sorry if i offended you. But i just couldn't agree with you that RF is not SQ. I won't say it's the best SQ setup i have heard, but it's definitely SQ and not SPL. And yes, i agree with forumers here that SQ or SPL, it has nothing to do with brand. It's the setup.

just do as wat u like...hopefully u can setup a good sq setup from ur rf......

i quit ice played Ice like for 3 years only. The item i listed in the brand voting thread are some of the brand i have used during that 3 years. Now i'm into home audio

p/s: i will not choose full RF as my component most probably HU.

How can you tell?
It's just that what people say to make you believe that RF is not SQ. It's their marketing which advertises more towards SPL than SQ, that's all. You can't just put off a brand like you know everything. Although I'm not a big fan of RF, but I know RF is not just SPL.
