IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT: Warranty terms changed:
Effective immediately, all mechanical keyboards sold by me in the past and in the future, the switches will be covered under warranty FOR AS LONG AS I SELL KEYBOARDS
Previous warranty terms was: one month only This is because of a few reasons, namely:
1) Since my sales started early this year (and about 204 +/- units since), there has only been 3 cases of mechanical keyboard problems (factory defect/lemon unit, buyers found out within 3 days of using - new identical units were replaced, post-haste)
2) The factory is now implementing triple check procedures as result of our negotiations for any keyboard sold to me and me only (in contrast with people buying from resellers in China and then selling again, often times buyer will run into a lot of issues, mostly minor such as outdated version or shipping damage. **NOTE: This is only for LingYi products, I Am still in the middle of requesting for the same procedure 2) to be enforced with AULA and MOTOSPEED.
3) In addition to the triple check procedure, I also check the integrity of keyboards once it reaches me, I will open the box, double check the correct unit and test it.
4) Want to maintain the competitive edge and secure buyers' doubts.
Thanks.

ANNOUNCEMENT 27TH SEPTEMBER 2016: ALL ORDERS WILL NOW ARRIVE WITHIN ONE WEEK OF PRE-ORDER, NO MORE CUSTOM CREATION, KEYBOARDS DELIVERED BY LINGYI WILL ALL BE KEYBOARDS MADE WITHIN TWO MONTHS (example: order today, Sept 2016, get keyboard made in July 2016 or around that) The reason for this is so that manufacturer side got enough ready stock to ship out whenever. So instead of waiting two weeks, the waiting period is now only ONE WEEK. 13th May: is your budget higher than RM230? Check out this thread for RGB keyboard https://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopic=3945749 4th May: Just FYI: swap with your item accepted (offer me) no promises on swap but if you have something that I might need then okay. I accidentally ordered an extra unit of the the RM150 non-LED, blue switch black keycap variant, check with me if you want ready stock. I also have black switch no LED TKL (normal price RM180, clearing it off at nearly cost price at RM170) BATCH 5 NOW OPEN, CLOSING ON 3rd MARCH. IMPORTANT Notice On Buying Grey Import
» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «
25th April '16: FYI to all new interested buyers, it is not compulsory to buy from me, but I am the only one so far who is in direct contact with factory, if there are other sellers selling on LYN or Facebook (on FB I am Wayne Cheah), it is okay to buy from them but PLEASE double check with them on which LingYi batch is it, all orders that go through me will be custom-created (U pay me deposit, I pay full to factory, factory MAKES for you). There are a few sellers who buy from RE-sellers and end up having older version of LingYi (usually January 2016 and before batch) Why is this important? Different lighting mode, please view the two videos on this post, the first video recorded in Jan 2016 compared with Logitech G710 is the OLDER MODEL, now there is a NEW MODEL since late February 2016, which is in my SECOND VIDEO (the one with my face) If you are buying now, PLEASE insist on the newer model as it is A LOT more improved (LED is now inside the switch and not outside, this minimizes all ESD damage to LED like older Ducky Shine and Razer keyboard models and will make it last longer) PLUS better switch integrity and much better lighting modes)
Customer who didn't have a keyboard to use couldn't wait so he had no choice but to find other seller for ready stock end up getting old model (not his fault, since he urgently needed to use a keyboard):
15th April '16: I TRY to be the friendliest seller on LowYat and Facebook, but if you're one of those idiots with unprofessional attitude of trying to deal with me and keep on giving excuse that you don't want to make deposit, and then end up when the mechanical keyboard arrives, you FFK (fong fei kei)/mungkir janji and disappear + block me on Whatsapp causing me to lose my own money bringing in stock for you, I really hope your life gets worse and karma bite you back in the ass. Really fed up with this type of people. You will appear in my blacklist if you still do not want to sincerely apologise to me or collect keyboard with me within 2 weeks of receiving stock. ***THIS IS ONLY FOR PEOPLE WHO NEVER PAY DEPOSIT AND THEN LARI
***Order updates please go to this postin next thread*** It is better to PM me to check as batches are always expanding rapidly, hardly have any time to update on thread

**PRE-ORDER, need to wait 9~13 days MAX after payment made** No longer 2 weeks, it is now 1 week or less. now mostly ready stock
Hi, straight to the point: Malaysian Ringgit has really gone to shit these days (for peripherals Razer, Logitech products all prices raised by at least 30% due to USD dropping) and we Malaysians aren't getting much better and are tightening our belts, thankfully, China is here to the rescue.
Bringing in this brand of extremely popular keyboard (because the quality is GOOD and the price is BETTER)
GENERAL INFO (recommend to watch video above): i) It uses Outemu switches (google for more info, but they're good). ii) Made from high quality aluminum base on switches, top of the keyboard is purely metal and not plastic iii) Will last up to 50 million keystrokes (industry standard) iv) Good cable management (braided cable as well, same with other expensive mech keyboard brands, etc.) v) Lights cannot change colour, what you see in the photo is what you get for the lights IF YOU WANT CHANGEABLE LIGHTS (MEANING RGB) Please visit next besellers: a) With numpad, AULA Wings of Liberty RGB with GATERON switcheshttps://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopic=3945749 b) WITHOUT numpad, Fuhlen RGB TKL with Kailh switcheshttps://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopic=4016761 vii) Two base colour choices, black or white viii) Can adjust brightness, switch off LED ix) Win Lock function, and so so many other useful functions!
SWITCH OPTIONS AVAILABLE: OUTEMU BLACK OR OUTEMU BLUE SWITCHES (Blue is clicky, more tactile, black is linear switch)
There are no other mechanical keyboards at this pricing that will give you pretty LED lights. Next cheaper option would be to get Razer BlackWidow or Corsair mechanical keyboards that easily costs over RM700 to have similar lights (i.e. BlackWidow Chroma and K95 RGB) Although of course, you get what you pay for.

Nice item. It looks like premium item and has beautiful construction for its price.
It has a rather solid feel to it, yes. Definitely does not feel like a cheap keyboard.
Although truth to be told, if our economy were better, we could all get better keyboards.. but.. things are getting so much more expensive these days, it's unbelievable. as a PC enthusiast yourself you should understand what I'm talking about.
Keyboards like this one in this thread is good for the value, considering that other mech keyboards are around RM400+ now anyway (without lights it's RM300 something, if that's an important factor) this will serve as a good starter pack to mech keyboards.

Yeah i agree with you. The price fluctuation in these few months has been hard to most pc enthusiast. I hope the economy will recover soon or it will effect even the most budget gamers

can set the colour to just one colour?
I'm afraid not, for the ones I'm bringing in they are all mixed colours and will only stay at that colour. I believe this brand has single colour (blue lights) but I'll need to check, I will get back to you via PM.
QUOTE(abepaih @ Jan 15 2016, 09:37 AM)
the LED is customized? or it already has ready programmed pattern only?
Only ready programmed light modes, obviously can't beat chroma but the animations are nice, but at 1/4 the price, this is definitely way worth it (at 180 the only branded lighted keyboard you can get is a logitech G105, I was using one, lights are nowhere near as pretty and it's not a mechanical keyboard)

Just to update, LingYi keyboards do not have single colour LEDs ugh, I blame the hype over the RGB keyboards.
Letme know if you're still interested, ORDERS ARE STOPPING ON THE 19th** Chinese New Year is coming, so nothing in China will work, if you order before next week, can still get before CNY. From end of January until late February no orders can be made (Chinese New Year holidays in China are nearly a month long)
The keycaps, is it standard size (easy to get for caps porn?) and wonder the led light lifetime. somehow its easy to pop off and the difficulty to self-switch out the led.
thanks. and I want 1 unit of TKL - White base (LED porn) - Blue Switch. Transfer to you on Monday or Tuesday - waiting bonus

I can't be too sure if it's standard size keycaps, I'll ask, LED.. quite sure it has standard life expectancy.. it'll probably be 3 years old by the time anything happens. heck even them Chromas die out if you're unlucky, it's not like Corsair's LEDs where they are protected from.. that electric problem that causes it to burn out.
hey man, confirm ahh? reply me confirm again and i'll place an order right now with my own money for you first (or if it's possible I'd appreciate if you could transfer me 50% first, then pay me the rest when we meet up or when it arrives, to cover my own butt), scared it gets delayed a month if i wait until monday or tuesday to order.

Aye, for this brand they're only using black and blue switches. You are correct, I believe there are comparison videos between blues against actual cherry blues, though not lingyi, works the same way. Today's the last day, letme know if you're ordering.
Great, can't wait to receive it. its really cheap that comes with LED. wallet saved. will compare it with my filco blue switch on the different if any.

To be honest I'm currently a bit nervous on the order, keyboards are on the way (yours along with four others). 5 keyboards = 7kilograms but volumetric weight counted by courier is at 9+ kilograms wtf, paying money out of my own pocket now, quite sure this batch alone has costed me some of my own money out of my wallet rookie mistake,

Probably up to RM20 increase.
aiya bro. its easy on this. the RM180 = keyboard pricing. postage fee not included. normally bulk purchase like this the postage should be shared among buyer. unless you are operating for a very high profit la.

Actually I think your method is more fair, but the keyboard base pricing will definitely be slightly lower than RM180, need to go back calculate properly, learn from mistakes. not intending to operate with profit or anything because I'm doing okay, just don't want to be the only guy in Malaysia using a lingyi ahahahahah

looks to be clone switches to me (Outemu as well, though I can't be too sure, need time to research)
**the thing is, Oetemu is only known for their blue and black switches, hardly see any reds, Sunsonny's blue switches are Oetemu, not sure about their reds.
According to Reddit:
Black switches are basically red switches with a heavier actuation force

hoho, just received my keyboard today, thanks KuzumiTaiga (dunno how to tag user) my first mechanical keyboard so i can't compare to other brands or switches, i'll leave that to the pros instead, i think this keyboard is targeted to newcomers like me, obviously because of the price normal cheap logitech keyboard (k120) is already rm40, this is just about rm100 more. for something that you don't change regularly, this is much more worth imho since this is a totally different category. with this available, don't even consider membrane keyboards that are more than rm60 for those who are considering their first mechanical keyboard and price is a factor, i strongly suggest you consider this, which is afaik the lowest barrier of entry. if money is no object, then i can't compare with other more expensive mkb i won't go into detail about this keyboard, if you have any questions for me feel free to ask my first impression: very heavy, makes other non-mkb feel like toys 4 big rubber feet at the bottom (+the weight) keeps the keyboard from moving around, which is very nice. keys are very smooth. fonts are not as ugly as in the pics, irl they're fine, but those arrow keys...

If you can keep it below RM200, it should be a good deal. I just bought a mechanical keyboard from coolermaster with Cherry MX Brown for RM299. It's an older model clearance and does come with red light. It also has macro keys.

RM230 is the ceiling price, will maintain it at this price as long as supplier doesn't raise up and ringgit is stable.
gotten my white TKL blue switch version. Quick brief vs my Filco Majestic Blue Switch as well. Filco : smoother key when press down Lingyi : slightly more force required - slightly as really slightly but its not a big deal.
the 1st batch cost is really attractive and I instantly join the bulk when saw it as you never can go wrong with MKB (blue switch). once you go mkb, you never look back to membrane kb again. with what this kb offer you - mechanical switch & led & shortcut key (calculator!!! ) - i have no fault with this kb. really glad i jump the ship on this without thinking twice. even at current cost for 3rd batch, I think this KB is still very attractive.
swap key with my keycaps on filco and it just fit nicely on each other. time to get led keycaps to replace the arrow keys now and gotta find someone to translate the manual to english for me

I'm afraid not, what you can do is to just use third party programs available for Mac OS to bind certain keys on your mech to become Command and Option keys, most mech keyboard users do that.

only drawback is its quite noisy click2 when playing games
that's a good thing for some people, eh your car's number plate is so nice btw

only have multi color led ? dont have single color ones ?
I'm afraid not, I have been searching for the last few weeks, I am afraid this brand only responds to the preferences of China's Chinese people, apparently they all like rainbows. Status for now is that no single colour LEDs, there's a buyer of mine who ordered and he is gonna change the LEDs himself, I wonder how will that be turning out.
Just tested my non-RGB blue switches keyboard that i hooked up earlier this week. After only using rubber domes for so many years, I can say wow. It is such a joy to type on though. Totally love the the clicking noise coming out from the keyboard. the build quality is solid as par as other expensive one.
The only drawback is I found that I to apply too much pressure on the keys and mostly bottom the key. Need to adjust my finger pressure a little bit. haha.
Overall, very satisfied with the keyboard. Will definitely promote it to my friends. Racun them hard!

Hey hey there, wanted to ask apart from being mechanical, does the keyboard have other gaming capabilities like anti ghosting and such??
Hi max, am out right now, but you're talking about N key rollover (anti ghosting) please allow me two hours and I will head back to run a test using a software and post you back the results.
Love this keyboard. Using it for awhile after i got it. It took some time to reach me (darn custom) but not in a rush anyway. TBH i like this black switch no led blackwidow than my Razer blackwidow blue switch. Good seller just pay full price hes not going to scam you. Hahaha. 10/10 would order again when the time comes.

currently using logitech k120 only

My general CSGO skills definitely improved after upgrading to this from my previous kb, Logitech G105 (a year and half old) bye bye getting your pinky finger struggling to tap onto the crouch key. Rape everyone in arms race 70% of the time, >90% always be in top 2. Either I'm pro or the keyboard is really helping me pwn.

hi, I'm afraid I do not have any brown switches.. apparently not a big enough thing in their market.. most only want either blue or black switches. yes have volume up/down function keys, although not above numpad. please let me know if you're still interested! I am finalizing a small batch tonight!

full size keyboard can you order one with no led to save cost? for the asking price i might as well get a ducky zero or CHERRY MX BOARD 2.0
I have enquired with factory before but I'm afraid they do not make boards of full layout without LED. :/
I wish to respectfully refute the statement in regards of the ducky zero and cherry board 2.0 with the following arguments:
i) customer Joseph had once drew an analogy with me the other day on why he did not get a cherry board, I am sorry for the lack of a better example but a cherry MX board 2.0 (retailing at around 260 before GST) vs the lingyi is like comparing a proton Iriz full spec with a Nissan almera base model. Both are around the same price range (almera being around 6k more expensive) but for the price you're paying for the Iriz, you will get all the features that are not available in the almera, such as GPS, more airbags, automatic side mirrors, etc. But of course, I agree with people if they prefer brand over substance, as we are living in this kind of world, it can't be helped..
With the lingyi vs the cherry 2.0, it is quite similar. Cherry 2.0 board is not only a bit more expensive, it also does not have any function keys available (windows lock, volume adjuster, media buttons) nor does it even have a single bulb of LED! the build is totally plastic (although good plastic is equally a good thing as an aluminum body like lingyi)
Although obviously at the end of the day, it is still up ti your preference. Many of the buyers here have tested out the cheery 2.0 board in lowyat Plaza shops and decided that a keyboard that looks so basic is not worth the nearly RM 300 of their hard earned money. This should not matter if you are adamant on wanting a cherry switch and nothing else. I am not sure if you're set on cherry switches or am looking for explore around.
As for the ducky zero, the same argument van definitely be recycled, as the name ZERO suggests, it's a very basic keyboard. And the retail price on average is definitely not close to my asking price, it is around RM330 (unless you can find second hand) this is of course referring to the list price of some shops here, and I do not blame them for the high price, it can't be helped! Currency is weak currently, hopefully it'll recover in time.
Above are the reasons on why I think my board should be considered, although end of the day it all boils down to everyone's personal preferences and what they like, if you believe the cherry board is for you, then I saw go for it!
Sincerely hope I have not offended you or any car owners out there. And I bid you a good day, Leon!
Got this keyboard few days ago and to my surprise, it is well built and have the solid feel although it is China product.
Surely Outemu doesn't feel as good as Cherry MX, but for the price offered, I got no complains.
To those who are still comtemplating/thinking, I understand your feelings as I do have those itchy feelings at first that this keyboard might not be the keyboard I wish to have since it is made at China. I've been researching for this keyboard before TS opened this WTS thread but at the end, give it a try and ordered from TS.
After getting it and been using for few days, I'm guessing it is worth the price.

Thanks for your detailed reply, here is the situation, i much prefer brown switch > blue > red/black (dont mind Chinese switches as long as its got a proven track record) blue is kind of noisy, it feels really good to type but not on the ears. i do use the num pad often unfortunately. tho I prefer the looks/size of TKL but I value function > looks Thats the same gos for led, i would just turn it off as i find it distracting.
If i didnt mind sound of blue and fine with TKL i would definitely give this RM150 lingyi a try.
Here are my current options, buy the RM150 TKL and buy a separate cheapo num pad RM20-30 which i would probably end up regretting later on. RM230 for the full size blue keyboard with led turn off. but its still noisy even if i put rings on it. I was actually comparing prices from lelong and not retail.
If yingli has a brown full size for RM190-200, Take my money now

I'm afraid not, but.. I see the possibility of you to add your own LED by purchasing the non-LED variant, there are empty LED holes above every switch further custom modding

Want to ask, is it really good compared to the usual brand we have bfore? Eg logitech and etc
Logitech products are good (except a few of their stuff) but their regular mechanical keyboards are easily above RM450~800. For a much lower price you'd get almost all of the features you would expect of a higher priced mechanical keyboard except macro keys. if you're really deadset on having features like macro keys, then this keyboard isn't suitable. But I have to remind that the mechanical keyboards I sell are a fraction of the price of what you would pay for a Logitech, Razer, Corsair mechanical keyboard. Might as well set the extra RM400 to get other stuff, like hardware upgrades, wireless controllers, better mouse..
Oh, durability wise they are the same. Both my mechs and their mechs will last just as long.
I dare say that my LingYi keyboards (RM230 variant) are better than CM Storm Quickfire, Tesoro Kaihl, Sunsonny, SADES keyboards in almost every aspect. Better than Razer in most aspects, too.
I do offer repairing services but am currently busy with exams (only able to manage keyboard orders for now)
if you can wait until mid May then I'm at your service.
opening a keycap store around that time as well. previously only ever bring in keycaps for customers who want to get
When will they be available again? If you have some sick designs with good price then I will get some, yea no problem I can wait for that repairing service been waiting for years now. Few keys on my keyboard no longer works, been keeping it ever since.

What keyboard is it, by the way?
If you can source for replacement switches (corresponding to the amount of faulty keys you have) that'd be great. Else it'd just be me swapping switches with the less used keys, like End, Insert, Right CTRL
Keycaps will be available after my exams too (May 20th)

Finally have the time to post. So I received my keyboard from KuzumiTaiga last Saturday. At first, I was quite sceptical about the quality since it was a RM200+ keyboard (104 Keys) from China. But, I was wrong. It felt solid/sturdy, has a weight to it, and clean finishing. The LEDs are bright too. Overall, I have a great time using it. Not to forget, dealer is recommended as he will strive to answer all your questions and doubts. Great time dealing and thumbs up! Might deal again in future for other products. =D

ANNOUNCEMENT:
25th April: FYI to all new interested buyers, it is not compulsory to buy from me, but I am the only one so far who is in direct contact with factory, if there are other sellers selling on LYN or Facebook (on FB I am Wayne Cheah), it is okay to buy from them but PLEASE double check with them on which LingYi batch is it, all orders that go through me will be custom-created (U pay me deposit, I pay full to factory, factory MAKES for you).
Customer who didn't have a keyboard to use couldn't wait so he had no choice but to find other seller for ready stock end up getting old model (not his fault, since he urgently needed to use a keyboard):

currently which brand model has full keys (including numpad) + blue/brown switch + latest model? (pricing for this option?) I do not want the keyboard that has the "enter" key like AULA where it takes up a huge space. I don't really mind the LED, if can turn LED off is ok.

brown switch LingYi doesn't have... in future if ur interested, can easily just buy brown switches and replace all the switches in your lingyi and still maintain the overall quality it's really easy.
Oh yeah the enter key of AULA is using UK layout, that's why.
yup LED can turn off, UGPM!

Easy person to deal with, and got my keyboard today. Keyboard feel solid, and nice to type on. Is clicky, most suitable for noisy environment, or alone. Unless your neighbor (colleague) don't mind the clicky noise.

Hi , have, brand is not LingYi. But it follows LingYi layout and the material is also metal.
I am unsure what you mean by base, for this case will assume you mean blue switch as well

Hello. Looking for tkl mech keyboard. Do u only sell lingyi or do u have some other brands?
TKL only LingYi because I can not find a TKL keyboard that is better than LingYi at this price point, I've been actively searching.
(LingYi White TKL - RM160 without LED, RM190 with LEDs) The 4 LingYi variants available (all under RM200, with braided gold plated cables, Outemu switches): 1) No LED Black keycaps blue switch 2) No LED White keycaps blue switch 3) LED Black keycaps black switch 4) LED White keycaps blue switch
Alternatively if the LED is not to your liking, can consider this keyboard @ RM230, it's a fully RGB mechanical keyboard, you can change the colours, etc. using Outemu blue switches. Adopts the unique IBM SSK form rather than TKL Has detachable wires, too.
Ordered late Thurs, arrived Sat. Item was well packed and I was very impressed with the build quality! The USB cable is braided, and is high-quality with a cover to cap the gold-plated USB connector.
TS has many videos and pics, but you have to view it in person to appreciate the quality.
Disclaimer : This is my 1st mechanical kyb. Have been using a ps2 kyb for the past many years, and not been willing to pay an arm and a leg "just for a mechanical kyb". Finally succumbed after I saw TS' thread and the reasonable price. Ordered the blue switch, and love the clacky sounds and tactile feedback! The LED effects are a nice touch, although I just keep it off as it's too bling-bling.

Hi, I have a new video explaining the differences between blue and black switches Prices between black and blue switches are the same there are differences in pricing based on the features rather than switch color (as in whether there's lighting, or number keys)

Still no brown switch for any of the keyboards?
I'm afraid not, if have also they're costing above RM300. However in stock I have one unit of TT esport Poseidon Z (RM230) with custom white keycaps (original black letter keycaps missing)
used for a few months, four years warranty remaining (with shop, receipt provided).
Kailh browns with blue LED light. Not much dust but I will clean it up before I pass it to buyer.
[attachmentid=6902702]
comes with a wrist rest (but quality not that great, soft foam thing) top up RM35 and I can get you a premium quality wooden wrist rest (cost price, can only be bought when purchasing/or already bought a keyboard from me)

Hi bro wanted to ask if the rgb got button to turn them off? because i rarely turn off my computer which is next to my bed and when i sleep i would prefer a rgb keyboard that has a "off light" function

This one by batch or ready stock?
And what about this one?
2 lighting mode - is the 2nd lighting mode happen to be OFF?
This one by batch or ready stock? sometimes have ready stock sometimes no ready stock, the unit you posted is black switch, black switch no LED has been discontinued, only have black switch with LED (so pricing for LED black switch has decreased to adjust to no LED black switch) - which is 180.
so for LED black switch - no stock at the moment (only got white full) - pre-order can get within 7 days
EDIT: 2 lighting mode is static and pulse, third one is off.

bro kuzumitaiga, I have always been interested with ur gaming keyboard. However I stumbled upon this Bloody gaming keyboard by A4Tech with LightStrike Technology where it basically says that they offer limitless keystrokes to the keys with this technology. It's a mechanical KB with this infrared key thingy. Price is also very tempting.
In ur opinion, what are the pros and cons between these 2 (ur Lingyi and A4Tech's Bloody). I'm interested in ur 104 button keys. Thanks in advance.

It's a mechanical KB with this infrared key thingy. Price is also very tempting.
In ur opinion, what are the pros and cons between these 2 (ur Lingyi and A4Tech's Bloody). I'm interested in ur 104 button keys. Thanks in advance.
1) I am not sure if this Bloody gaming keyboard can be considered mechanical or not, maybe faux-mechanical (those mechanical feel type of keyboard, not authentic) if this one really improves one's performance then it shouldn't matter lah, but generally it is best to choose a true mechanical keyboard (which follows the definition of what a mechanical keyboard is, closely) - BTW I can't seem to find the Malaysian pricing of this keyboard, only for mouse (which is RM150+ for a mouse?)
2) Whatever "technology" that they use in their marketing, and I am saying this without having tested their keyboard before, seem to be just a pure gimmick and something to attract people who are not too familiar with this field?
3) This here is what I pulled out from their marketing ads, I can tell you that it is hard to be considering this to fit into the definition of a "mechanical keyboard" and I can be very sure to tell you that whatever switch used by A4Tech is not a Cherry MX-compatible switch (so you will have to rule out the possibility of having the keyboard fixed under warranty claim when this switch is obsolete and nowhere to be found) and you won't be able to use custom keycaps (u can do that for the LingYi) There are brands who make mechanical keyboards using their own switches (like Logitech with their Romer-G, Steelseries with their QS1 switches) but in order to make your own mechanical switch architecture, you need to spend millions and millions of dollars for R&D, which I think is quite unlikely for A4Tech. Also, I do not see anywhere that they declare their keyboards to be "mechanical" so we can scratch that out now.
4) This is another thing I am noticing, looks like the only way you can get nKRO (where n = number of keys pressed) is only available on the highest end model (I am not sure of the pricing of it) most if not all proper mechanical keyboards (LingYi included) have nKRO features, you can refer to this video for a much more succinct explanation.
5) The way A4Tech promotes their mechanical keyboards is starting to look as far-fetched and overly exaggerated also they resort to attacking how bad standard mechanical keyboards are.
6) Both LingYi and A4Tech have the same switch lifespan rating = 50 million keystrokes.
My final conclusion would be that (really, not being biased here, if you were to ask me to compare to something more reputable like Ducky, Corsair etc. I'd be able to give in a more balanced, and more accurate input since I've been using these to better understand the mechanics behind mechanical keyboards):
It definitely is not future-proof (can't customize keycaps, hard to find spare parts, not using standard Cherry MX layout of buttons (similar problem with Corsair K70, Razer Blackwidow)
The only true advantage I can see based on the keyboard specs is that it is spill-proof. However in the case of the LingYi, even if you spill something on it, it is very easy to clean (but remember always to plug out first), just take out keycaps and wipe, if feel like water seeped inside (which is hard to happen) you can unscrew the top metal base.
If you are have any further questions feel free to ask me.

oh sorry forgot to log off my main account goldfries.
eh goldie dun banhammer me ah i main2 oni.
Back to the keyboards, the cheapest i saw for the Bloody keyboard is at around rm200. u can find it in 11street and Lazada. i have never had a mech keyboard before but i've used it a few times. idk what difference does the key make oni thing i know that i love the klak2 sound and feel. it feels oh sooooo dayummmm gooood! xD
really seriously thinking about getting one now. i love the full 104-keys keyboard. which one from Lingyi do u recommend. budget around rm250. cheaper is better
and btw may i suggest for u to buy the the bloody keyboard with lightstrike switch and make a comparison between those 2 brands. which is better in ur opinion.
That's all from me, many thanks for the explanation. All the best to ur sales and looking forward to purchasing one from u soon.

maybe time for me to get camera and go lowyat plaza see any shop selling or not but honestly from what I can see here, it shouldn't be that much different from those half-mechanical keyboards Armageddon sells.
BTW: I think u should watch this, reminding me a lot of the A4Tech, not really a mechanical keyboard but this kid bought it thinking it's a mechanical keyboard end up kena bash in comments..
If you're OK with non-RGB (meaning lighting is fixed and u can't change the colour) then look no further, LingYi is for you, because the build quality is just so solid and long-lasting. PM me when the time comes and I'm sure we'll be able to work out a deal
BTW, Lightstrike seems to be a Chinese-developed tech, rebrand under A4Tech/Bloody USA badge, this I can confirm. Main target audience are for Russian CSGO players. Really you can consider other brands, just not the lightstrike switch thing, claims that are overly exaggerated.
Thanks for your well-wishes, man! Looking forward to hear from you soon!
Thanks bro KuzumiTaiga for another quick deal. Highly recommended for high quality mech keyboards that don't break the bank, and more importantly excellent service!
I am really enjoying the 3 Lingyi keyboards which I bought from you. For a novice to mechanical keyboards, the Lingyi is the ideal introduction because of its cheap price and solid quality.
I shall be keeping an eye on the other mechanical keyboards you are introducing to the Lowyat Forum.
I highly recommend this seller for his helpfulness and straightforward character. He provides a lifetime warranty for the keyboards he sells. You can be sure he will honour his word.
Could you PM me with info for Option 1/cheapest black keyboard? Postage price/payment method etc. Would also ask if you've heard of Novero Gaming Store on Facebook? They seem to be selling "Sunsonny" mech. Keyboards at less than RM100.

Anyways do PM me your details
Sunsonny doesn't have anti ghosting, literally everyone on fb group "PC Gaming Community Malaysia" are complaining that their sunsonny doesn't have any anti ghosting feature. Which is really like buying a car without engine.
I just bought a unit of LingYi keyboard from him today (no RGB, TKL, Blue Switch). He offers very good customer service and not shy to provide opinions on mechanical keyboard choices/shortlists that you have in mind. I hope this keyboard can serve me well for many years to come
Transferred and paid on Sunday night and received on Tuesday. Very fast service and replies which is very appreciated since you seldom find good sellers these days.
First time using a mechanical keyboard after using my laptop keyboard for gaming, assignments... Absolutely mindblown by the comfort of using a mechanical keyboard. The clicky sound is very addictive as well haha.
Bought the cheapest RM150 one and its good enough imo.
Awesome Keyboard...I was one of the first few batches of buyers from nearly one year ago, still working like a champ, never expect a mechanical keyboard at this price range is so high quality, even the lights are still fully functioning unlike my old ducky shine 3 keyboard that has had many dead led's within 1 year, and continues to die even after claiming warranty and now it is expired. Lingyi Blackwidow FTW!!!
4) Want to maintain the competitive edge and secure buyers' doubts.

any chance to get a replacement?
yo, number 2 as in the keycap above QWER one is it, not numpad?
Just receive my first LingYi mechanical keyboard from KuzumiTaiga and currently typing on it.
Gotta describe the process la coz really satisfied!
- Service is great, he will advice which keyboard matches your requirement best. - Once done deal, tracking code will be provided. (Thanks for putting it in a link, less hassle) - Postage took a day only, really fast! - After receiving my package, happy with it coz neatly wrapped.
Here are my first impression for my LingYi TKL black non-blacklit. - Package in a cool box - Feel weighty, ain't no cheap toy - The aluminium base really nice - USB port comes with cover
For typing, - I haven't really got used to it yet coz the cap slightly curve (I normally type on flat caps) - The blue switch quite loud (Guess I haven't used to it) - Typing feels great, need time to get used to it coz all keyboard are different - Since this is a TKL, my right hand occasionally still go for the numpad
Thanks for the good product, service and deal. Future will get caps and wrist rest.
Just bought Option A from TS. Keyboard is very responsive and the keys are very tacky. The keyboard typing sounds are also very satisfying. Recommended seller
very happy when i upgraded from cheap Acer keyboard to this
many thanks to KuzumiTaiga
Just asking. How was the size of the keyboard? Is it big or just as big as normal keyboard? How was the quality and the clicky sound generated by that keyboard?

sorry for the late reply busy with my studies
the size depends on type of keyboard you purchase since i only purchase full size mech keyboard (103 keys) from here Black Keycap with GATERON Black RGB switches
for the size i can say that its not much bigger(not on a scale that i can notice) but the weight is significantly heavier

i bought black switches and it does not have a bump or a click sound when you press (meaning you press straight through till the end , sorry i want to reduce clicky sound as much as possible since i live in a hostel )
since i upgraded from a membrane cheap OEM keyboard from acer
for the quality it is far superior than membrane keyboard ,way easier to press and register any key stroke
used almost 2 month (around )
found a dead blue led send to Wayne Cheah during his trip to melaka
fix repaired and shipped back to me within in a week
quite happy using till now
» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «
but till now i am still not very used to the force required to press the key ,
the force required to press any key is too light for me
i guess its a bad habit for me due to the old keyboard i used won't register my keys if i press half way through and will only register if i press the whole way down
hope i can change my habit as time progresses

If you budget is RM219, highly recommend waiting until next week for Tecware Phantom RGB to restock.
