To preface: I have Astro IPTV with Maxis Fibre.
I already got a public IP and changed the username and password some time ago. I'm trying to port forward but it stays closed! I tried so many things, but all to no avail. In the end, I decided to contact Customer Service. The first call, a lady picks up the phone, and doesn't understand what I'm talking about. She said she'll call me back ASAP, and I said okay. I waited some time, and she never did call back. So, I called again, and this time a young guy answered. He seemed as incompetent as the first lady. He asked me to call the port provider and ask them. Who?! He doesn't understand how ports work. He put me on hold for a long time, and I just ended the call. Wasting my time and money. Pathetic! I demand a resolution to this ASAP; and hopefully a more experienced and knowledgeable CS rep.

No. The first lady called me back and is trying to guide me through setting it up, but her page is different from mine. I asked her if I could talk to her supervisor, and she took down some info and told me he will be in touch. Hopefully, it'll be fixed soon. sad.gif
