for me Mi5, you cant even unlock the bootloader.

I want the pro version is because of the Ceramic body.. According to Chinese review, they said the Ceramic Body are "F**King Awesome" when holding in hand.

Of course at the end of the day, people might flap the case on the body, but at least is 8H scratch resistant.

Still the cheapest snapdragon 820 handset with reasonably wide avialability out there . So dont really mind a lower clockspeed and slower graphics processor.

i want mi5 too.. at least 64gb,.. how do we buy it?? 1gadget or directd sure gonna jack up at least 1000...

Another bad news. It might be a rumor, but it could be very true as well.

An unknown source indicated that the reason why Xiaomi doesn't want to sell Mi5 Pro at the first batch simply because the quantity is limited. It's limited due to the higher production cost on the ceramic body. It will be quite difficult to get one even if you want to buy it in China.

If this is true, that means Mi Malaysia may bring a very limited stock of Mi 5 Pro into here. Or worse, they won't bring in the Mi 5 Pro at all. If this happen, it will be another big let down to the Malaysian Mi fans.

Goto Aliexpress after the first round of sales. Should be able to find one.since this is not iphone .there is not too much room to jack the price up. I found a redmi note 3 pro at around 1100 ringgit while xiaomi official selling at 780 ringgit . So a hike of around rm350 is consider good already.
