it seems there's a lot of glitches at the lowyat main page since they changed the site sturcture.

I believe every Miu fans in here knew this fact since the first day. They will install the playstore if they want to buy the AP set. So it should not a big problem.

I would say the same, I remember Xiaomi said, from MIUI 7 onward, most phone are locked bootloader, which require 30days to get the code to unlock it. So can't direct flash vendor rom or something else risking bricking it.

Otherwise, just have to sideload the PlayStore..

never buying xiaomi phones again after my mi3 got its motherboard burnt after 1 1/2 year of usage.

Playstore could not be sideloaded since Lollipop as it is a core part of Android system due to ART implementation.

You need to flash it on a unlocked bootloader.
