to those confused about my vaporshark (henceforth shall be known as vaporshart) comment, they played a hand in the whole diacetyl debacle as well. when mothers milk was found to contain traces of diacetyl everyone and I mean everyone and their mums were up pip's rear end about it, and she did a stupid on top of that trying to fabricate test results to show that her mothers milk had non of it when it did.
my take on the whole diacetyl shit storm was simple, smoking itself contains diacetyl and how many cases of popcorn lungs have you heard from people smoking? yeah. people forget that vaping is harm reduction, not negation and go evangelist on every new thing that could potentially be a threat. that and every other hoobla about what's unsafe and not, created by companies that have interests in the vaping industry (while they think is making it better) is actually fuel that could be used by those with interest in big tobacco. it's pretty demeaning how a bunch of rednecks could protect their interests to own guns via the nra (look at how well that is run) while a bunch of self appointed new age healthy alternative scientists can't even keep shit under wraps before fear mongering the shit out of everything vaporshart themselves had an issue with their website's security where their customers cc info (mine included) were obtained by haxx0rs and big purchases were attempted to be made. lastly, vaporshart should run a particle test on how much paint chips off their mods over time before they start fuelling idiots like grimmgreen. (case in point - pbusardo and other reviewers were also informed by vaporshart but they unlike yours truly actually waited for a definitive test result) ![]() |

QUOTE(Davidoff888 @ Feb 2 2016, 11:07 AM) COD a panasonic battery, saw vaping thread commonly using NCR18650B, but what I've got is a NCR18650E. the Panasonic ncr18650bs are protected cells, so it might not even fit some regulated mods. and if the e's are anything like the a, b, ga and pf versions with 10 and 15 amp true amp ratings I would never use them on mechanical mods eitherWhat is the differences between B & E? E is lousy one? QUOTE(LeaSe*lineR @ Feb 2 2016, 11:17 PM) Managed to check the pdf, NCR18650E is rated as High-Drain battery. Spec wise in league with EH IMR18650 and Efest IMR18650 brand. efest are horrible batteries, they're probably in the same boat if compared to fake sony vtc5sGood battery for daily vape with any ready-made single battery mods. It's like lil brother to Sony VTC5 in a good way |

QUOTE(LeaSe*lineR @ Feb 2 2016, 11:54 PM) As long it's an authentic batt with performance wise as per data sheet, not some rewrap from small factory, I'm happy with it :) Efest that bad these days? I remember ppl used to sub-ohm with those Efest batts. factory ratings mean nothing since we aren't using them as they're meant to be used. protected, daisy chained in power banks, laptop battery packs and such. :)the list in the link below has been posted a few times by myself and a few other posters in previous versions of the "official lyn vaping thread" but was never added to the outdated first post garble https://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/blo...vape-with.7447/ |

QUOTE(rjb123 @ Feb 28 2016, 10:21 PM) I know in Japan you can only get 0mg ejuice - any problem in bringing in your own juice for personal use? Will be going there for 10 days next week. keep your opaque, travel sized toiletry bottles. sanitize them and voila :dI've had bad luck at immigration / customs twice in Japan (stuck for hours) and don't want to repeat that again ! was in hk recently for new years and had no issues This post has been edited by olivur: Feb 28 2016, 10:57 PM |

QUOTE(6oLsh0i_6o0z3 @ Feb 29 2016, 01:49 AM) haha lol its alright dont worry about it such as those used in soft / energy drinks :?I wonder if there is any other "enhancer" to be used inside an eliquid. We got liquid nic for now, how bout liquid caffeine. If people can extract nicotine, pretty sure they can extract caffeine as well hehe Nevermind, just something I thought out of the blue |

QUOTE(6oLsh0i_6o0z3 @ Feb 29 2016, 02:48 AM) Yeah. I mean nicotine and caffeine, they're both like stimulating some nervous system, but they are different at the same time. no no it's completely logical, just that back then when I tried a juice with caffeine it legit hurt my head lolI have no idea what I'm talking about actually lol. Is like there is nicotine crave, and then there is caffeine crave. I just thought is it possible to put that in our eliquid as well as a substitute for a nicotine lol. Because I have a friend who actually need to get his/her dose of coffee everyday if not they might not feeling really well, sort of. Is like an addiction too? hmm.. sorry this is something that is not really important, just something that I thought of all of the sudden. Dont worry about it. there's that line, high voltage was it? I was able to vape it but it simply tasted like energy drinks which I dislike, but it's 3mg did give an ample buzz (I normally vape 6mg) point being, if the only issue is finding the perfect ratio of caffeine to fully substitute nicotine from juices, hmm hmm! lol |

QUOTE(andyng38 @ Mar 3 2016, 12:48 PM) Thinking that nichrome should be used in TC is definitely NOT a newbie learning the ropes. part why myself and most stopped replying seriously. too much ego in here. it's hard trying to share when you take the effort to reply as concise as possible and you either get called on your tone because it makes them feel dumb and/or the best that I've encountered "sorry didn't read, can just tell me safe or not?"Making assumptions and drawing conclusions from dubious sources is NOT learning the ropes. It's simply misinforming yourself. As is there's already enough fools and idiots sitting in the tree, especially the alarmists who made formaldehyde and diacetyl into such a big affair when there really wasn't due justification. the vaping community doesn't need more of them. If you really want to learn something, do it properly and not just halfway. If you just want to have slipshod and superficial learning, then it's best to keep your thoughts on safety matters to yourself. like anything online when something is new sure misinformation is excusable but as of now? albeit vaping still being in its infancy stage? basic things like tc and non tc wires are well documented and all over the net but stil people decide to read halfway and misinform themselves and others. hell if even nickel poisoning if used outside of tc is news to a known "otai" here it shouldn't come as a surprise the lyn vaping thread belongs in /k. lol |

QUOTE(andyng38 @ Mar 3 2016, 01:45 PM) Sigh. I don't blame you and the others for feeling that way, and not replying seriously anymore. And what you said is absolutely correct. because you're the better person Call me a sucker for punishment, but I'll still keep on replying seriously and sharing what I know till the day I stop vaping (yes I'm making a painfully slow and gradual exit, hoping that it will bring about a permanent behavioral change). Vaping gave me freedom from ciggys, and it was mainly due to patient and unselfish vapers IRL who advised and helped me along the way. So this is one of my methods of giving back to the community. Anyways I've encountered far worse during my informal "stop smoking thru vape seminars" QUOTE(kelvinling @ Mar 3 2016, 01:40 PM) you could pm dino straight on his Facebook for purchasing, even if in bulk. he's the nicer one out of the two. I got my velocity via him when it was sold out on cisco's site after I created some story on why I neeeeded to have a velocity. which I subsequently flipped but that's beside the point lolhttps://www.facebook.com/strpr.swpr |

comprehension is at an all time low if what andy said in his initial post that started all this was taken personally.
seriously, re-read what he said, he wasn't calling anyone here in particular (albeit deservingly so) a fool or an idiot, he said there's enough of those around fear mongering, which is true. lol in other words, awat hangpa terasa?
