kanthal power mode vs ti01 tc...which 1 you guys prefer?

my opinion
kanthal is easy to build while titanium is really super duper pain in the ass as it so springy i had to torch it few time and had to watch out if it burn too hot which not good for health. so kanthal is winner here.

flavor wise, kanthal is ok but titanium is almost 1 times better than kanthal, almost like licking the juice,i suspected it was spitting but its not. so titanium is the winner.

rewicking, again kanthal is super easy to clean and rewick while titanium is the pain in the ass again cuz if not careful enough the coil would bend, and some said its not recommended to wash it with water but just to brush it with toothbrush.

i just hope that titanium can be as easy as kanthal, that would be super perfect biggrin.gif

i suspect u got the wrong gauge wire for the Titanium Grade 1.

i have no issue with 26g i'm using right now..

moreover, its not meant to be torched.

read here on Ti Grade 1 guide Craft Vapery Ti Guide

Just a bit to add to duke_hunt's good post #1235...

Re: springy Ti...yes indeed it is springy. Get a good pair of flat-jaw pliers and pull the wire very VERY tight when coiling. There will still be some springback, but it can be generally negated if you use a mandrel that's 0.5mm smaller than your intended coil diameter (eg use a 2.5mm mandrel to make 3mm coils, 1.5mm mandrel to make 2mm coils so on and so forth). I use 28 gauge Ti and don't have much problem making 3mm diameter coils that way.
*
thnaks for the tips,im using 28gauge too,so,its not a good idea to torch it like duke said?

QUOTE(TristanX @ Feb 18 2016, 12:44 PM)
After started using SS 316L, I didnt go back to other wires. I like the clean taste. It also supports power mode if the mod doesn't have SS 316L TC.

And yes, you can dry burn SS 316L.
*
wanna try SS,but my tc mod doesn't support sweat.gif
is it safe use in power mode?

any here used Crius v3 rta before?
my previous tank Billow v2,ti01 28 gauge 10 wraps, about .3 ohm, the flavor seems to be tons better than crius. i builded 7 wraps spaced on Crius about .2 ohm,the flavor is muted,i tried less and more cotton,i din't fit the whole cotton into juice hole, just tuck in slightly...any suggestion? gonna try 10 wraps micro just like my Billow tonight later see if any better.
really like the crius velocity deck,so easy to build and rewick as well

Spare parts for attys are tough to find. The screw callout for the Billow according to several forums is M2x.4x4mm.

Options:
U can try your luck at hobby shops near you which sell remote control toys; sometimes they stock micro screws.

Or try your luck calling Vision Fasteners Sdn. Bhd. Address: No.5, Jalan Serindih 3, Bandar Puchong Jaya, Puchong 47100, Selangor
Tel: 603-5882 3690 / 012-6115881
Fax: 603-5882 3806

Or buy from overseas
http://www.microfasteners.com/ssm2004-m2-x...tric-alloy.html

Fasttech stocks M2 (Metric 2mm diameter) 4mm long screws...but the pitch of their screws is either unstated or .5. I don't know if .5 pitch will fit your posthole threading (assuming said threading is still in good shape). But it's cheap enough to take a chance.

If you've been stripping your screws because they require frequent tightening, consider using grubscrews instead.

ok,i tried everything with this crius, cotton still burn after just 1 hour of vape, then i decide to give it a nice wash then i found out something weird.

as you can see the picture below, the '1' indicate the water level,it above the juice hole but it wont flow thru? as you can see '2' nothing is blocking the hole,i even try to open up the filling cap '3' it still doesn't flow thru...
maybe this is the problem?

1. Try not to over-tighten the "barrel". Hope it helps
2. Trim the cotton at both end before you stuck them inside the hole.
*
i tried trim the cotton at the end let it slightly peek out of the hole, seems improved,2 hours+ not yet dry hit. hope this can last a day biggrin.gif
thanks ya

You know what really pissed me off is, not a single person from the so-called organization MOVE and MEVTA come down to his Istana and talk some sense to him as well.
Who knows, he might get the wrong info from the wrong people too. It might not change his mind or anything, but at least people can see they tried.
But sorry, none. You're own your own.

But its okay, just no kedai vape, but people over here still selling online. There are no prohibition on selling the item online iinm.
That was his late father I believe. Not this one.
*
yeah i guess you are right,as long its not like SG totally banned, then i'm ok with it.

hey guys, i was wondering does vaping have any direct effect on the body ? particularly Blood glucose levels ?
*
vape wont effect your glucose level...
the only side effect was some people had very small chance sensitive to PG,which can cause muscle cramp and tingling feel, which is not really a big problem if that don't bother you.
if you dint feel anything then nothing worry about.
nicotine wise,it have same cigarette effect, heart pump faster, dizziness if consume too much.

QUOTE(glamour @ Feb 28 2016, 12:14 AM)
Is kinda hard if u smoke and Vape.
You kinda feeling to smoke instead of Vape
I'm doing both now. Haiz
Kinda like smoking now. Easy
*
i start with doing both smoke and vape too.
just force yourself to stop smoke, dont buy cig, throw away your lighter.
at 1st week after i stop smoking,im still craving for cig, that's normal, all you need to do is to force yourself, its not that hard trust me,just vape your favorite juice.
after 3 week,i bet you won't craving for cig anymore, altho sometime im still think of smoking cig,but i can just ignore that by vaping easily.
it's been months now i had quit smoking, feel so great. my room is finally smell so good now,no more smelly cig odor...
trust yourself as i trusted in you that you can do it. welcome to vape family, smoking is dead vape is the future...

wow bro, congrats on quitting smoking. honestly, i feel alot of people has been vaping to quit ciggys but eventually they crave for it and most give in to it
*
thanks bro smile.gif
true true true, maybe people are misguided, people though vape is a magic tool, but it is not,we still need have to force ourself to stop smoking.
but all i can say is,vape really make it really alot easier to quit smoking.cuz i had tried quit smoking few years ago twice, but fail and its just too hard for me,i even had tried the nicotine patch. and that time din't know about vaping yet.
i had another friend who are a heavy smoker just like me, he manage to quit both smoke and vape, kudos for him biggrin.gif but few other had fail, went back to cig sweat.gif i asked why, they said because vaping is time consuming, need to fine tune, rebuild, rewick. but for me,this is art,it's kinda fun when building or even troubleshooting some problem biggrin.gif
