Yes, it is normal. Max out the airflow because it doesn't cool vertical coil properly.

Item 1 is nono since it doesnt have SS 316L TC. IPV5 is just another 2 battery mod.....

Got more options. If weight is not an issue, consider Joyetech Cuboid and Wismec RX200.

Try

60% VG
15% fruit (different brand may need more)
2% Ethyl Maltol
1% Sucralose or Stevia
Cooling agent is optional
3-6% nicotine 100mg base is optional (PG or VG based - cut the pure PG or VG if you use this)
Balance is PG

Example for 10ml - This is better for single coil builds:
USP VG 60% - 6ml
Double Apple (CAP) 25% - 2.5ml
Ethyl Maltol 2% - 0.2ml
Stevia 1% - 0.1ml
USP Nicotine 100mg PG based 3% (3mg) - 0.3ml
USP PG 0.9% - 0.9ml

100% - 10ml

60VG/40PG Blend

Dont forget to shake before vaping it. Steeping will improve the flavor overtime. Recommended for fruity is 5 days minimum.
