What wire gauge is that?

It supposed to lock your wire resistance once you locked it but 0.28 to 0.32 is not a to far high I guess plus, its SS316L so...

Not sure, perhaps others will give you a better insight on this hmm.gif

26g + 32g.

Found in some forum that the resistance IS locked but whats increasing is the current resistance. The chip will adjust voltage accordingly. - im not quite buying this or i mustve misunderstood the statement. Its not an actual quote but from my sleepy memory last night.

I cant seem to find a guide on rulo+clapton ss.

Resistance increase is normal on tc.

The resistance permanently locked once you installed the tank or RDA. Try plugging in other tank or RDA to change the resistance then put back your SS 316L tank or RDA.

Spaced coil is recommended for temperature control.

By normal you mean the display will increase especially with SS coils right?

Did that swap. My actual room temp reading is 0.26. Found an app Vape Tool from google store which has options for clapton. Calculated, got 0.26. Im happy.

Spaced coil...this i was contemplating. I guess ill just go power mode for a while till my next build. Will try spaced.

Tq master brewer.

Any TC based wire will increase.

Also, 3mm or bigger diameter is recommended for coil size. Provided if you could fit it in.

I squeeze dual 5mm Kanthal 24g on TFV4 TF-R2 and triple 3mm Kanthal 24g on TF-R3. Tank gets hot very fast due to not enough air flow though.
*
Any reasoning for bigger diameter?
And spacing? I suppose spacing is due to the heat generated?

Testing on my dripper first as for now.
No wonder the TF-R3 prebuilt SS was wide spaced.

spaced coil they are better, contact coils will heat up pretty quick. especially clapton the reason why I purchased SS clapton is to overcome to heating issue but since I have twisted kanthal I don't it a SS clapton. 3mm and space it 5 wrap is what you might want to look into. don't go too many wrap if heating is an issue here. My ideal set up for dual coils built will be 5 wraps 3mm spaces u should able to hold down the heat issue. Try not firing too high too since the coils it still get heat pretty fast you should able to get tons of vapors and flavors no reason to go higher wattage.

Thanks. Ill try these on my next build. Heat isn't really an issue for me right now.
I like a little warmth in my clouds. Adds to the feeling, if not i wouldn't get enough satisfaction.
Well that is just me. Plus my RDA is mostly plastic type of material.
Fired mine at 30w though. Now testing higher and higher. Just finding that spot.

Still not getting how these temp work. I tried firing 70w once for good 4 5 secs last nite.
And the temp didn't kick in. I wasnt inhaling at the time. Tried to smell the cloud, smell a little burnt.
Not as bad as kanthal would though. I set it at 200F the lowest there is. Locked at 0.28.
These is what i do not understand yet about TC on DNA200.

EDIT: Temp works after i chained.

As for power mode. Everything seems well.

Thanks for the heads up guys.

Bigger diameter allows you to put more cotton. More juice in the coil reduces the chance of dry hit or burnt cotton.

Spaced coil reduces compressed heat.

Yeap as what i had figured..so it was correct.
Ok cool. Probably recoiled tonight.

Now i understand the clean feel of firing SS compared to Kanthal.
Osam - excited.
