One of the subforums in the Garage Sales is named "CPU, Motherboards, Casings, PSU". There are quite a few number of fully rigged CPU sellers/want-to-buyers, so can I suggest that a 'CPU' tag be added to make it easier when searching for a complete rig to purchase?

Thanks.

Nah, I'd prefer to keep things the way it is... reason being, some fully built rigs have certain 'nice' parts that I want. Then of course us being itchy forumers will persuade the seller to sell part by part brows.gif

Just keep things the way it is.... I don't find any problem finding or building a rig whether its a complete set or a piece by piece rig. Because... when i really need a rig/parts, I browse thru all the way from the first page of "CPU, Motherboards, Casings, PSU" till the last.

Well, I certainly can respect that. But you see, some of us here may not be as tech-savvy to assemble our own rig manually by individual parts, so we'd prefer a complete ready rig. Also, not all of us may want to browse through the entire forum's pages, even though I did too. It's just a matter of providing a convenience to others with different needs, not that it will affect you, will it? smile.gif

Just FYI, cpu = central processing unit. So CPU tags for complete rigs would be confusing.

@ shinnosuke : The tag I was suggesting will be in the [b]Garage Sales > CPU, Motherboards, Casings, PSU section wink.gif

@ malaysianPotato : You're right. Whatever the tag's name is, my point is just a tag for seller/want-to-buyers of complete rigs

Your idea is good, but we have category threads on Processor (CPU), Motherboards,Casing, display card, monitors, memory and storage rite?. They are all parts, sub-set of and collectively a PC. So, I don't think PC should be in the same level of thread of it's component.

If it's still rational, why choose "CPU, Motherboards, Casings, PSUs" category? .. why not in "Memory & Drives"?

That's my opinion smile.gif

I'd like to see more category's in the bulk section instead. At least a proper division for IT/Computers from non-IT related products.

Once again, you do have a point, shinnosuke. smile.gif What I'm really trying to say here is, implementing a new tag which will cover COMPLETE RIGS (Desktop and Laptops) whom people are selling/buying. The actual name and location of the tag is a decision for the staff to make, but the idea is to cover another range of products people usually serahc for. happy.gif

Cheers

Samanoske Akechi , the "whole computer system" tab you suggested sounds good. I sold my old rig through garage sell , although nobody wanted to buy it whole I managed to sell it off within a month. There are loads of seller/buyers unlike me wanting to sell their rigs whole.

I'd like to suggest a "exchange" tab in the garage sell section too where forummers can exchange their games/etc

* Exchange/trade tab in garage sell for exchanging games/etc
*Games tab
*More categorising in bulk section *IT/Non-IT*

It's really hard to look for bulk items i'm looking for in the bulk section , please consider this one. hmm.gif

Games exchange. Not bad of an idea smile.gif Usually if you're selling games, you'd have to sell in numbers, like 5 games at once

- We dont have enough volume to create a subsection specially for that
- There are already some using the [WTT] tag for trading with other items. If we have a subsection specially for trading, ppl will be asking for grouping based on type of items again i guess and it's gonna take again a bunch of subsections under that
Dont think there are that many ppl looking to trade anyway, most accept both trades and sale

I would like to see more categorizing under the Bulks too
