anyone of you encounter this issue the wins 10 seems like crash, all hang. then force restart all my initial desktop files gone, clean wipe. my old desktop files all moved to a windows.old folder in C:drive. this is the 2nd time happened, the first time happened i reformatted it. any idea of the problem, is it windows 10 bugs?

all the time is a clean install. the first time happened i reformatted it and do a clean reinstall and been using for a 3/4months then it happened again. don't know what is causing it to behave like this? i was thinking to install either windows 7 or 8 no more windows 10 for me.
one main thing i dislike windows 10 is can't disable auto update.
some of the files that i have associated with a certain 3rd party program it will will auto re-associate back with windows program causing me to re-associate it yet back again to a 3rd party program.
