QUOTE(wangwangi @ Mar 3 2016, 11:11 AM) Been upgraded from Win 7 Pro for few days, what I find is this Win 10 a bit sluggish, longer boot-time and softwares' launch time. Also not as good looking as Win 7 Aero Glass. Infact, I feel Win 10 has cheap plasticky interface like Win 8. I miss Win 7 now...... Is it very slow or a bit slow. If very slow, and desktop icon very slow to load, try to disable windows defender. Also some hardware drivers that are not optimized for Windows 10 also make load up time slow. Anyway, I think Windows 10 has option to revert back to Windows 7.

QUOTE(wangwangi @ Mar 3 2016, 06:11 PM) Just a bit slower. Maybe due to my aging hardwares?? I don't use windows defender, I use Comodo Internet Security Free version. You can check if windows defender is installed or not (type defender in the search) I think windows 10 its comes built-in.

My main desktop just got updated to Windows 10 Anniversary 2 days ago. Its original Windows 10 Pro license. So far no problem and like the some of the changes.
I also have 2 notebooks, currently running Windows 10 Pro and Home, but both actually free upgraded from Windows 7 Pro and Windows 8 Home respectively. Will this 2 "upgraded" Windows 10 get the Anniversary update too? So far I checked update, not receiving any notification for the update to the new Windows 10.

QUOTE(horns @ Aug 11 2016, 05:03 PM) yes they will be updated eventually. you can also do offline in-place upgrade with latest w10 iso if you don't wanna wait. Thanks bro. Not in a hurry, so maybe I'll just wait for the upgrade to pop up by itself.
