It's unbelievable that microsoft uses it's customers as guinea pig to test their unstable operating system. Users are forced to run update without options to turn off for home users. User needs to access through services to disable windows update.
There are also numerous users affected by printer issue.Users who are updated through windows update had error printing message each time they restart windows. while attempting to remove the printer port through device manager and auto reconfig the printer, it suprisingly works again.

windows 10 is hardly a testing software. Once it is installed, it is very stable. I think the upgrade process is the one that is a bit unstable on some devices. But generally, in no way customers are guinea pig. You need to know that before launching of any Windows OS, they have preview version and even beta version. Lots of testing has been done before it is released.

The windows update is by design that they force it on users. Because a lot of the times virus infection and malware are due to users not updating their windows. This give microsoft a bad name. In order to help reduce the bad image, they are forcing all users to keep the OS updated.

However, that doesn't mean they are bug free. There is still some bugs here and there. Like the printer issue you mentioned that need to be fixed. Other than that I think Windows 10 is a big step forward since Windows 7.
