Hi guys, I have Windows 8.1 Full version which was upgraded to Windows 10 a few years ago. Now the PC is retired and I am planning to get a new PC. Is it possible to use my existing windows key on a new PC to activate Windows 10? Advice and pointers appreciated, thanks.

If you signed into a Microsft account in your current Windows 10 PC, then you can install Windows 10 on your new PC and sign in the same Microsoft account and your Windows 10 will be activated.

Thank you! This only works for Full versions and not OEM license right?
