guys wta is this normal?
Everytime when i update my windows i see the definition update for window defender it will become pending installation then just disappear?
Is this same like you guys?
At the history there is says successfully installed but i never seen it get installed b4, always just pending installation then disappear.

ya it will appear but with different code. example yesterday i check for update it is definition xxx.398 today i check for update it will be definition xxx.486.

i see.. never face this issue.. interestingly it happen to u.. hmm.. 🤔 i only did experience update issue like urs first but then.. i restart my pc.. somehow the update success. no new update after i check mine.

hye guys. I need help for someone to check dumpfile for me after bsod. can't figure how to open the file. Is there anyone kind enough to help me with this ? And if so, how to upload the minidump file ?

for interpreting memory dumps (if you really must have this done), you can try ask in ms community. there are some people who are ready to help you out i believe.

from your other thread, it really looks like issues from gpu drivers, motherboard or ram. not really sure.

i upgrade my laptop from win 8 to win 10 when we were eligible to upgrade for free. after used win10 for months, then the unstable win10 keep crashing.
after factory reset, my laptop is back to win 8.
So my question, is win10 now stable unlike the early relase?

you should try it out. i am using w10 latest for my old laptop (xps mainly). there is no issue so far.

as always, you should always double check your laptop support page or manufacturers' pages for latest compatible drivers and download them manually just in case.

my 2012 pc all driver using windows 7 driver, just GC use latest one
starting few month very unstable on windows 10, hang, blue screen,
after some time no more issue
