Can we have a +1 button feature for each post?, and reply?

I think it would be useful if each post comes with +1 button. (something like 'LIKE' button in facebook).
Sometimes we very agree to a post, but lazy to reply, so the +1 button would be useful to us. Plus we can compete with each other who get the most +1. So each +1 will display at the bottom of a post, and the total +1 will follow our avatar box. |

I think something like this was implemented before, it didn't really work out because it was abused.
