ya using 93.71 also. not really o/c it. last time installed once rivatuner then uninstall it. no point to oc without a 3rd cooling for vga.. laugh.gif

do some registry editing to show the hidden feature of ForceWare so i able to oc my crappy FX5200! yes i'm using two giant blue color heatsink to cool down it....i NEVER got any problem of crash when playing games. i think i got the most "stable" winxp.. although i'm into OS X nx year when Leapord release! i can't over clock my card, every time i enter frequency menu, my comp will go mad....
then need to go safe mood and uninstall driver and install back

according to ur rig, u got a 7600GT card! why would u still wanna oc it... that's superflous there! i still can survive with my p4 2.66GHz, 512MB, FX5200!
my rig is like ten years behind compare to urs.

sometime OC is not about getting more performance.. OC is all passion and hobby. to see how far a card can go is joyful thing to do.

try to get 91.xx or 92.xx version of the driver. especially 91.xx got many positive feedback.. buthen 93.71 got quite alot negative feedback.

u can see at the "overclocking database" section and see people post thier overclokcing result in 3dmark...there u can see what driver version for ur 7600GT at someone that use the same GC like u.....coz i use 91.31 at my GC just working fine.....

That's peculiar man...,when you say it goes mad...,do you even try sliding the bar or not?....,are you sure you're not using one of those modded drivers from Guru3D or somethin?.....,if you are....,maybe you should try switchin.....

i am using the official forceware 93.71, no need to slide also go mad adi, just enter the menu and need reinstall driver, even driver given on cd also like this

93.71 is official driver from da nvidia site.. da 93.81 is a beta.. so far no problem issue when im using dis driver. since u got problem with da 93.71 driver.. why not u try to use other driver,maybe dis can solve ur problem..why not u try other things dats maybe will fixs it.just my 2cents wink.gif icon_rolleyes.gif

The 93.71 does have problems OC espc using coolbits . Some say using Riva Tuner can OC without problem.

why not give it a try using modded driver.....

sometimes the modded driver is more stable and batter then the official one....

u should try it first to know which driver is the best for ur GC...... icon_rolleyes.gif
