@ propinsight - I believe it should be since the Hyde Tower units are under HDA which prevails them as residential usage hence eligible. Better check online on the website http://www.srp.com.my/en/

The auction will be held later today. Interesting. Why would anyone get a SOHO, SOVO, SOFO etc in this area? This type of offices are better suited in KLCC area or Kampung Kerinchi (Bangsar South) where there are plenty of corporate offices. mmmm

Both Block B (isuite) and Block E (Hyde) sold just now.
Few bidders but they managed to side deal outside the auction.

B-26-03, i-suite, 566 sqft (2 bedroom unit), sold at reserve price 300k.
D-25-01, Hyde, 465 sqft (1 bedroom unit), sold at reserve price 290k.

The opening of the new mall certainly boost up the market here.

may I know what happen if the auction amount cant cover with that unit loan settlement amount?
i.e. 650K balance for Hyde tower 769 Sqft unit

Even at 280k, I foresee another two rounds of auction. I was in the new mall with my wife for movies recently, most of the mall is empty, some of those stores that are occupied are on those "temporary store mode", case in point are Reebok, Hai-O, and Sulwhasoo. Sulwhasoo has moved out barely three months after they started operation. My wife is a huge fan of Sulwhasoo, she was so thrilled to found the presence of Sulwhasoo in iCity, only to see the store closed down yesterday when we went there for Lion King. Such a shame.

I am quite surprised that even mid-market fast fashion brands like Massimo Dutti, Zara, Mango or even Uniqlo did not have a presence in iCity Mall when these could be found in Setia City Mall. I could be wrong, but this entire development is not the next Bandar Sunway.

Well, wrong prediction.
Is only the 1st round auction at 280k but attracted 6 bidders just now.
Sold at 322k. thumbsup.gif
