Gaggia is solid build...long lasting... heat up fast... but the boiler is too small... brew temp drops too much... not easy to get consistent extraction... also the new models are 14 bar n very hard to adjust to 9 bar... can also runs out of steam...
Breville is mostly plastics... uses thermoblock with lots of electronics...but good thermal management... iirc small 54mm filters not standard 58mm
imho...
brewing... milesto? >= Breville > Gaggia
steaming... milesto? = Breville > Gaggia
I put '?' because never play with milesto. I have the old Gaggia... fun to play with... updraded after 2 months... I still kept it as backup because I'm very familiar with its quirks and have work arounds to get stable temp n steaming... but don't recommend it
What about WPM-kd210 aka Sunbeam Em6910 ?Breville is mostly plastics... uses thermoblock with lots of electronics...but good thermal management... iirc small 54mm filters not standard 58mm
