Hi guys

Do you use any digital kitchen scale or could you share with me the price and brand of the kitchen scale that you use ? Thinking to get one with very cheap price from lzd for coffee bean hand grinding but not sure if it's worth. Thanks

Those RM30-ish with 0.1g accuracy up to 2kg/3kg max weigh are all you need. Slim enough for espresso too

so far my experience with those cheap grinders has NOT been great.

there are still many old hario grinders out there which has been phased
out and probably cheaper by RM10-20. but i will suggest that you get the
latest hario grinders; they are Skerton Plus and Slim Plus.

Hi Guys, thanks for the helpful reply. If there is anyone visiting Vietnam soon, please try their ice coffee at highland coffee shop. it's a franchise coffee shop that literally open everywhere throughout there.

Between aeropress and syphon coffee maker, which one make better coffee ?

I'm mean by looking at the video of making coffee by using syphon coffee maker, it seem require more step to complete whereby aeropress just need hot water only. But I'm think coffee lover could neglect the tedious steps if the end result is satisfying.

As for home use, which would you prefer ?

The Ikea coffee filter looks so nice..I've the same doubt too whether can it filter coffee residue or perhaps even better than cloth filter?

if you like less oils in your coffee, daiso has
dripper type too, <RM12 total.
you can explore brewing with different grind
setting and water temperature to get the taste
you like.

Daiso paper filter seem good and cheap but flat bottom design not so good. Those paper filter like V60 is better with cone shape but expensive la

Have you tried using daiso paper filter and fold it to your liking and use it??

Can substitute the more expensive one??
*
I have never think of folding it to cone shape when use with daiso drip. But will do so if manage to get cone coffee filter like Ikea etc. Thanks

why daiso filter is not so good?
*
because of flat bottom design, the sendiment will slow down the flow rate. but as suggested by one of the forumer, need to fold the paper filter.

Don't do it, it is terrible.

Just get some generic Akira/Feima coffee grinder from Lazada/shopee, should be a lot better.

How about welhome grinder that sell below 500++ ?

Nope. Better buy real dolce gusto at official lazada nestle or starbuck mall. Within that price too
