good arabica beans can have varied smells and tastes... acidity or sourness is often one of it... a good coffee may be sour but should be well balanced... if overly sour means it wasn't brew properly... and of course you can have some coffee without much acidity/sourness... and roasting can adjust the flavor profile of the beans...

Love this explanation. Nowadays, I prefer my coffee to be slightly sour and not too bitter. It's refreshing!
