Hi, does anyone know where I can find a place that sells beans or grinds in like small quantities. The kinds where you can like test different types of coffee without comitting to an entire bag. I'm just starting out, so I want to try diff types of coffee out there.

So I've found an old bialetti moka pot and cleaned it the best I know how. Is this Lil thing still salvageable? Any advice?

I got mine from perk coffee. Had their taster packs Sumatra Timo (dark roast), Brazil Cerrado (medium) and Ethiopia Yirgacheffe (light). I liked the Cerrado the most and Yirgacheffe the least, probably too bright for my taste atm. The timo has quite a body depending on how you brew it. Then recently I got their Urbanite Blend (medium), and it's really good as well. Nice balance. I'm waiting for my beanshipper blaq box to ship out on the 9th of march, but so far I really like the Cerrado and Urbanite. I brew using V60, I'm still pretty new to coffee and I just follow videos online to brew like the kasuya 4:6. I've tried french press and hated it, couldn't stomach it, but once I used v60 even when using same beans I started enjoying coffee. My grind setting for v60 is 10-12 clicks on hario mill slim.

I see more discussion on coffee equipment here, so was hoping got more discussion on beans and stuff that are easier to get here.

I've been experimenting with the v60, and I realised that I can't use the same brew time when im using more or less coffee. Like 12g of coffee I follow let's say 3:00 it's perfect, but then I move up to 20g it's not the same, and of course when I move to 40g its also not the same.

I can slowly test and experiment which i'll be doing anyways. But does anyone have any advice or tips on how to get consistent across the different amounts of coffee I use? I use the same coffee:water ratio each time.

Checking it out . Also using Brew Timer because the timer function kinda easy to use, and easy to adjust.

Hi ymeng, I'm still exploring and trying different beans, do you have like taster bags I can buy to try your beans, and if I use your espresso beans with pour over method would how would it be like?

Anyone with experience with Akirakoki grinders? I saw the name Akira floating about together with Feima etc. So wondering if it's the same Akira?
