QUOTE(Castreal @ Sep 22 2016, 12:34 PM) Sorry, my bad! Yes, it's 250g. Am brewing CREAM + Purveyor, 250g each makes up a nice RM 101 for the free shipping Used to brew Shipper Blend, but find myself enjoying Purveyor more at the same price. As for Cream by THE ROAST THINGS, they usually have them only in small batches, and I have to contact the Bean Shipper guys for a reservation. Overall, agree their beans are a bit pricey, but they do have a wider range of beans to choose from. Cheers! i agree with u. before the purveyor out. i brew the shipper blend. 1st time is nice. 2nd order not nice. dunno why. 3rd order i buy purveyor and its nice. recently i try shipper blend again. see how it turns out

QUOTE(d33pbluez @ Sep 22 2016, 01:22 PM) Agree we should form a team then we can taste all the beans that beans shipper offer us at the same time we can share our brew taste and correct the mistake... It would nice if everyone live near by .... haha I was planing to get cream and purveyor too.... but seem cream sudah habis.... but the name "milk killer" kind of grabbing my attention.... tried the milk killer before. not as nice as i expect. purveyor better

QUOTE(luvox @ Oct 10 2016, 03:23 PM) Single shot. If u adjust the distribution depth deeper i dont even need to tamp the ground. I can keep my tamper away d. Very happy with the even leveling and espresso pull. Result more crema n no channeling compare with my regular tamper. Real smart invention for consistant pull, no need skill or practise to get nice pull how does the thing work? just put on top of the porta filter? then? sorry noob here

QUOTE(dilin @ Nov 7 2016, 10:43 AM) Anyone interested in my Super Jolly? New grinder incoming. Optimized for single dosing (chute flap and doser funnel installed). [attachmentid=7967698] [attachmentid=7967699] With the Mini hopper and new burrs, which you don't need to season as it has seen some use, save you some beans. Still left 300+ kg in the burrs. Bean retention is minimal, ~0.5g. The doser eliminates clumping and there is no need for WDT. how much?

QUOTE(flowerhorn @ Dec 15 2016, 10:09 PM) My new grinder with a new batch of beans...It's quite a messy grinder but allows better control of the grind size compared to the built in grinder on my bes870. Btw if anyone want to share the Ona raspberry candy beans with me let me know. Roast date 5th December. The aroma is wonderful! how much did u buy the grinder? i order the ona raspberry also. waiting for arrival. cant wait to taste it

QUOTE(1tanmee @ Jan 2 2017, 11:37 PM) The acidity level of the coffee is what gives the bitter taste, right? Which variant would be more acidic -- arabica/robusta? i think higher acidity = sour taste?

QUOTE(Castreal @ Apr 19 2017, 12:48 PM) Recently I noticed that the coffee blend that me and my wife preffer do contain Sumatra Mandhelling beans. I've tried all variants available through Beanshipper: Purveyor (our fav), BEAM, and the recent Palladium. They are good, but we will like to explore more. I do see a lot of sites selling these beans online but are usually US, UK and AU sites. Since Sumatra is just next door, the fees incured for them to import to these countries and then deliver back to MY is just crazy (and the logic is cazy as well). Do you guys know any local roasters or indonesian roasters that do Sumatra Mandheling? Thanks! i like purveyor too do u mind to share how does the palladium taste? thinking of getting it my next purchase currently drinking driver by brew and bread. nice one also

QUOTE(dwRK @ May 2 2017, 05:45 PM) Looks like a rebranded Bezzera with some customization... can't be sure just looking at photos... have not looked at machines for a while now... These semi-pro machine all worked about the same with commercial parts...no worries... my machine and I are celebrating our 11 years soon... Get a good grinder with it too...it's mandatory what machine u are using for 11 years already

QUOTE(ju146 @ Oct 29 2017, 05:00 PM) Dear expert, Can help to suggest a grinder for my pressurized espresso machine? Budget around RM500, newbie here Thanks from my experience, u dont need to worry much about grinder if it is for pressurized porta filter espresso machine. any grinder can do. as long as it meet your budget. but if you want future proof and looking forward to upgrade to non pressurized porta filter, i think you need to look deep into which grinder is more future proof.
