Shamelessly self promoting
Can check us out at www.reframecoffee.com. We're doing free shipping nationwide as well now for the MCO period

Frenchpress/V60 is just a brewing method. Question is what flavors do you like in your coffee? Fruity? Nutty/bold? etc

Nice, I think i stumbled across our website before while researching. I'll look into it. i'm more a fruity person, any beans you recommend? smile.gif

Filter and fruity then look for the Ethiopian Hama Bekele or the Kenya Gatomboya AA

The Kenya is a very good classic kenyan taste - strong blackcurrant, purple fruits throughout

Nice, it will be my next when mine finishes.

I bought my timemore slim (not the chestnut)few months ago and still love it. (i hope i still can unbox it again, feels like unboxing a phone lol)

Upgraded from the hario skerton plus. The difference is night and day. grind is very smooth and consistent.

i m using the same hario as you, actually i need 1 more grinder since i am living off 2 houses.. always bring here bring there very troublesome..
I kinda hate the hario like a bit off centre (by design is like that)..

timemore G1 is 830RMB in taobao

yep it's unstable the way it's designed, i've heard on reddit they have a modding of somekind to stabilize the grinder (if you have a 3d printer).

I got mine off shopee ,it's not the G1 tho, I went for the chesnut slim because the G1 has a wooden base which I don't really like.

Have you watch the video by hoffman yet? (might help you decide)

hey guys!

sorry i'm a total noob here. I mainly make filtered coffee (v60/aeropress).
and wanna delve into espresso.

is the gemilai 3605 a good beginner machine to start with? it's pretty popular here I see? of should I save bit more for a gaggia classic pro? (but it's kinda hard to find here ??? i dunno) any suggestion?

budget 1 to 1.5k sad.gif

I'm currently using timemore chestnut slim. dunno can make good espresso o not.
