- there's a secondhand Super Jolly selling on Mudah.my for RM 1550, advertised with new burrs.
- you can check out an earlier forum posting by luvox who got a new Super Jolly from Taobao for less than RM 2k.
- For me countertop space is at a premium, so ended up getting a Eureka Mignon (Mk2). Extremely happy with it. Quite a number of forumers also have this grinder.
- if you can wait, the Baratza Sette looks drool-worthy .

With the Mini hopper and new burrs, which you don't need to season as it has seen some use, save you some beans. Still left 300+ kg in the burrs.

Bean retention is minimal, ~0.5g. The doser eliminates clumping and there is no need for WDT.

Hey guys anyone wants to share shipping from bean shipper? Or we can go for 1kg pack then we can order more frequently for fresher beans. I stay in damansara uptown

Actually just today and tomorrow, the shipper express beans get an 11% discount.
usually if I buy 250g Purveyor its at RM 39, or 156/kg. With the 11% promotion + buying 1 kg, we can get it at RM114.80 per KG.
Divide that up 4 purchasers (250g each), its only RM 28.70 per 250g. Quite a good deal.. but only for today and tomorrow.

Congrats on the new grinder & welcome to the ever-growing Mignon2 club. Based on the photos, you got the maroon one, while sometime back there was a blue one. Mine's a bright yellow. Nice to have such lively colours grace the countertop.

I ended up adopting a different method compared to most, in order to minimise/eliminate the mess. Instead of using a funnel, I grind into a small lab beaker first. Then once the dose size is measured out to the target, I tap the beaker on my hand towel, forming a nice puck. I then invert the beaker to let the puck slide out into the PF basket. A few taps and the puck disintegrates back into a pillowy mound, ready to be tamped. Surprisingly, I don't get inconsistent extractions.
