Nice knockbox 
I do own a fancy Joe Frex Knockbox base with Drawer, but to be honest, its now more for show than actual use.
I only make 1 cup of espresso a day, so to think of washing the drawer everyday for just that single puck is quite a hassle 
Instead of using the knockbox, I now use my dustbin as a knockbox (just knock at the sides of the bin, the puck falls out)
Simplicity is still the best 

i like to save the puck for my garden!! instead of going into the waste!!  but dang @alex thats good improvisation!! well done!! 

On cupping session!! Cream by the roast things does them too!! but not as often tho!!

I'm using a used ice cream plastic container and just stick a old chopstick through it 
The pucks get collected each week and goes into my in law's garden
