Hi guys. I recently got quote from contractor. Item quoted as below.

1.15ft Quartz counter top
2.Kitchen cabinet and peninsular with high gloss material.
3. Kitchen hood and sink bowl(single)

The price quoted is RM30K. It is roughy quote with no much details.

My question is, is the price reasonable or is it expensive.

And since I’m new to this. What details should I ask to get better quote

From experience, usually those who do both aluminium and wood don't do either very well.

UK is a very expensive kitchen supplier. Workmanship is so so only for the 3 houses I've seen them doing.

AK does a pretty good job for their aluminium works but a bit on the expensive side.

I would suggest using tiles...it's actually much much easier to clean compared to stainless steel. but if light cooking can use the steel...more appealing?
put tiles better especially one big piece and smooth surface type so that cleaning will be easier.
