hi feifeikon, do u suggest ppl to put a stainless steel sheet at d hood and hob area? to prevent oil spill at d tiles... or put tiles is better? do u sell this stainless steel sheet??

i don't like Glass with Aluminum frames.

1st, the back area around the frame usually hard to clean because the back portion is not flat piece and has lots of gaps.

2nd, the frames edges are very sharp and poses a danger for cabinets opening at head height. even for lower frame i can scratch my legs if i forgot to keep clear.

New frames have somehow solved this issue by either using a Male & Female frame to ensure smoother edges, or add a rubber piece on the edges. the former one is the nicer way but cost alot more as manufacturer cannot produce the frame by simply cutting a long piece to their requirements.

4g - its glass. the color from the glass is actually just on the backing. if compare to spray paint and acrylic (which is color all the way thru) you will see like glass first and color at the back. The effect is quite different. For me, not so nice. It also has a aluminum edging. Some are thick and ugly, some are thin and well depends on if you can accept the frame. color part only on the front.

3g compare with  4g , 4G there is no aluminum edging. Cantik, but without the aluminium, the glass edge can easily chip and crack if not careful.

Guys want to ask, i install my cabinet with aluminium frame and today i found out the middle part no divider / splitter install

I ask the contractor, he said if aluminium frame no divider given doh.gif ask me to install melamine board instead (probably hint top up)

Am i been conned or what is your suggestion ?
