E1 and E0 board are the European 'formaldehyde emission standards'

EUROPEAN Standard mah Of Cos EURO $ tongue.gif

pioneer of using E1 board in Malaysia is " Kian classic kitchen " but seem this market not much demand ,

Malaysia Normally customise Furniture we are using E2 board .

E0 formaldehyde release is less than 3mg/100 grams, "enterprise standard"
E1 formaldehyde release is less than 9mg/100 grams," international standard"
E2 formaldehyde release is less than 30mg/100 grams, "national standard "
F assumes level formaldehyde emissions less than 1.8mg/100 grams, "F assumes that there is only Japan"

United States there is a standard P1, P2 to represent, P1 equivalent to E1, P2 close to E0. icon_idea.gif

12mm should be okay if you are laying it on top of your wooden dining table. polish edges. Just make sure the tempered glass comes with a cop "tempered" usually at the edge. you might want to consider to protect the edges with a corner protection which you can get from DIY shop.

Hi, would like to seek some ideas for kitchen.

Do u think that need to hack the walls to make it bigger or just keep it as original? The floor tiles for dry kitchen and wet kitchen is different. Planning to cook at yard area, but wry it is too small. cry.gif

If you don't and won't have a maid you can consider changing the utility room behind to your new wet kitchen. Then you can also knock down the dry/wet kitchen area to get a larger living/dining area.

cook at yard , yes hack the wall make it look bigger , floor tiles different height make it same level and same colour with existing dry kitchen tiles make it look same area .
but depend on your budget If budget not allow Of course stick with original . laugh.gif
