Tokina 11-16 Di 2, dropped, focus ring cannot turn

Hi friends,
I have a tokina 11-16 which i dropped by my own fault. The focus ring was totally jam, cannot turn or engage auto/manual mode.
Have sent it back to shop and to Tokina repair center, they quoted me RM850 to fix 2 faults they found:
- auto focus unit (according to them there are 4 boards need to change)
- main bearing unit
IMO, i dont see the reason to change the boards.
What are your suggestion on this? I have yet to send it to outside repair shops but at the price i might as well top up to buy a new one.

For that price, might as well get a new one. Sell it to spare parts collectors. Btw, how much did you buy for the lens?

bought it used at Rm 1300.
and the repair price is half the cost of a brands.
