That bidding at last minute after everyone fail to get exclusivity and know already mp silva is lurking. But it does not matter. Mp silva is not a broadcaster. They manage  broadcasting rights/sponsorship and normally sell matches in packages. These ppl are not amateur. They hold the right for number of leagues in the world. Xde problem utk astro to come back and buy fair and square. Point A to Point B. Still the same, the difference is either u use car or plane.

The problem is the broadcasters want to buy and set the rules. 3 years  with astro but there were no improvement in terms of matches broadcast per week or increase of main sponsorship. These ppl dont have experience managing football leagues and value added services.

My problem with astro is they look hell bent to sabotage msl and put pressure to fmlpp/fam because they know they have the best equipments and channels. They can choose to cooperate and play on level playing field like media prima but they dont. No one force them to sit out from bidding the match packages.

And i believe mp silva is hoping for astro to cooperate until last minute but they wont. So media prima and that eleven sports network probably is a plan B.

Astro is trying to be a bully but i understand most of malaysian fans only want good coverage and certainty. And for me let media prima do their job as broadcasters for the time being. As long as i can sit on the couch every week watching local matches on the tv it is good enough no matter what team is it.

mediaprima should use teir tonton.com.my for other matches that not on TV... let say... 1 interesting matches for super league every game week- TV3/9 and 1 interesting matches for premier league every week - NTV7/8TV... the rest can be watched through Tonton.com.my... haihs...
