ok, was watching black lightning season finale, got diff for hdr n non hdr
somehow this HDR looks like years back when watching on sony 120 hz motion flow dunno what, looks very artificial, like the whole show is shot on digital HD cam
not really used to it, prefer those grain dark movie feel
4k n 1080p still havent seen any diff yet, let go try other movies/drama

On my Samsung KS7000 I actually prefer watching on 1080p resolutio, lol.
I don't know why, but watching 4k on my TV, the image look kind of soft.
So I play my 4k iso movies using Media player and force it to 1080p resolution, looks much sharper with better contrast and better blacks.
I don't know if something to do with the FW.
Sometimes it has nothing to do with your TV or eyes, but the transfer copy/mastering isn't well done for the UHD. I don't know why, but watching 4k on my TV, the image look kind of soft.

There are a number of UHD which is not even native 4K but upscaled, though that is not to say they still don't look good but just food for thought
