Lil_kazaam, do you mean you want to discuss about racial ethnicity and their differences to spread better understanding?
Or you blatantly mean racism, which is a form of discrimination based on race. I don't your racism talk is allowed anywhere, but discussion on racial ethnicity and their differences to spread better understand. Hmmm, maybe this is a case of engrish and its usage.... Thank you.. for your reply.....
Just to ask... can someone put a CLEARLY racism remarks in their "signature". For example: "While we Non-Bumi pay more for housing, we deserve better in this land" "If it's a Malay problem, it's a national problem; if it's a Chinese problem, it's a racial problem; if it's an Indian problem, it's not a problem" Can this such remarks considered as racism idiology...... if you think it is not.... then it is okay with me... after all... this is your forum...... |

Okay report the signature in question (you can PM me the person) and he will take action. Racial/religious statements are not allowed in signatures, but you can discuss them in RWI.

To answer your question you will need to look at two things.
LYN Board Rules and Regulations. http://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?act=boardrules This subsection should answer your question Action: Political and Religious Topic, discussions are welcomed in Real World Issues forum. But do not spread political propaganda or religious hatred in any of Lowyat.NET forums. Obey the sub-forum rules as they are enforced very strictly. Result: Offending threads or post will be edited, closed, or removed. Offenders may be warned depending on severity of the offence. Members who promote racial hatred will be banned. You might also want to check out http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Racism to know what constitutes racism. If you genuinely think that there is elements of racism that breaches the board rules anywhere in the forum, please use the report button to inform a mod/staff to look into it. With close to 15,000 posts a day, it is quite impossible for the limited moderators we have here to monitor every new reply and take appropriate action in time. We rely on members to inform us of possible problems by reporting them in. |
