A better question would be how much do you think the iPhone 7 and/or 7 Plus will cost by the time it gets released? RM5,000 upwards?

IMO, they can save cost of making the 3.5mm port, save cost of audio jack license fees, save iphone internal space for other parts.

Fully utilizing lighting port + earn some (perhaps more) licensing fees from accessories vendors, get some ROI on lighting port research and production line.

Don't forget beats is now Apple, Im sure Beats is ready for Apple lighting port audio I/O. With early sales, they can choke up price due to less competition.

For me it's just too expensive to buy the phone outright without a contract. Even if I can afford it, it doesn't make sense.

Yeah, but recently realised getting one direct from apple online store + umobile RM28 package = cheaper than maxis 12months contract.

Im not sure about now, but Digi and Celcom were much more expensive when i got my iphone from maxis 12months contract.

Hope they can subsidised more to make their contract more affordable, or else, no point to get contract.

got mine ip6S yesterday with maxis 128, phone 1990, with all include 2600 + GST.

if waiting for ip7, probably to reach MY will be 9month from now.

Usually the S releases are to fix major flaws in the non-S models. If you don't mind risking any issues then go ahead and wait for the 7.

However history have already shown that non-S releases usually have at least one major flaw be it technical or cosmetic flaw.

Better wait la. iPhone 6S really nothing special. Mightself just buy the iPhone 6.

Couldn't agree more. Also, the S cycle upgrades has lesser queues - better chances of scoring the model and color you want without having to hunt high and low for it.

for me minimal difference. the interface is 100% same. 3d touch is more of a gimmick so far. if i was you, ill wait for the ip7. u get the ram, new exterior and better cam with the current price (most probably).

5s 32Gb still can survive for now, unless u got 16Gb then its worth to upgrade..make sure go for highest Gb..128 above

for me i will wait iphone 7 to release than buy iphone 6s with cheaper price...
as discuss iphone 7 will not have more than 2G Ram and i think iphone 6s should be good to use for another 2 years
