hi all,
just found out my mbpr got the anti coating stain issue.
read this "Apple will replace Retina displays on affected MacBook or MacBook Pro models for free within three years from the date of original purchase, or one year from October 16, 2015, whichever is longer." somewhere.
wonder anyone here changed theirs already? how was the TAT to get your mbp back? mine was not that bad but still an eyesore.

QUOTE(jumpstat @ Aug 15 2016, 09:32 PM) There are members here that have send in their rmbp for the 'stain' lcd issue. It takes somewhere between 3days to 1 week depending where you send it in. I can't remember where exactly but its listed somewhere in this thread where you can send in yours. FYI i plan to send in mine, but couldn't find the right time as I heavily use my labtop for work and can't go without it for too long. Some cases are very bad, and sme are minor... eventually need to be send in. Yeah, was contemplating also since mine not that major but when the screen shut off, bare eyes you can see. Removed my keyboard protector also as i read somewhere it is due to that. Anyway mine is 2015 model, same with yours?

QUOTE(jumpstat @ Aug 16 2016, 07:32 AM) Now, this woud be ideal. Thanks for the heads up. Probably need to go straight to the service centre rather than the dealers/agents. Cool, let me know if you manage to do it that way. Was thinking to go service centre at midval as I've been there once and the service was good.
