Basically like eagle-eyed ian said...just chopped off the chess board to make a box.

Then use acrylic rods to build a little rail thingy and use PCB material (with coper coat for EMI ) to as the tray to mount ODD, HDD and the power board.

That way...it's easier to change parts etc.
