Hello.

Currently im using Celcom First Basic. (Old Plan).

tbh, this plan kinda okeyla. jus network damn problem.
Working around KL yet 4G is like on-off.

I rarely call people. but now need go call my clients/ frens/ guest.
so i was planning to change to another plan (unlimited) call.

I wan cheap and good coverage. (Working around KL and sometimes go outstation around Malaysia.)

i google around. and see this 3 company.

Maxis One Plan.

Data : 1GB + 1GB (4months Only)
Free Call
Free Text

Cost : 98 P/Month

Umobile Hero

Data : 7GB + 1GB Every Months
Free Call
Free Text

Cost : 70 P/Month

Digi Smart Plan

Data : 3GB
Free Call
Free Text

Cost : 65 P/Month

So... any idea or suggestion?
Thanks.

Cheap : Digi / Umobile
Coverage : Maxis / Umobile / Digi
Benefits (GB) : Umobile / Digi Maxis

Im using umobile Hero Plan P70, love the unlimited calls and the 7Gb of data plan.

If you're in Klang Valley, the connection is okay. And there's no free SMS for this P70 plan.

My backup line is Maxis, as if you're tavelling, Maxis has a better coverage.

U mobile not bad. I've been using for my work which I need to travel around northern Malaysia. No problem about the network coverage. All the main city have coverage but mainly 3G. 4G more in kl/selangor area and my sister using it in selangor. No coverage issue and u get 7gb data!! But i think they will charge u for text

Sekali naik bangunan tinggi sikit, call pun tak dapat..

or if you have a dual sim phone, you can go for this setup:

Celcom First Basic 38 + U Mobile Power Prepaid

1. Power Prepaid to handle the calls (5 cent per 30 sec + 1gb free data to act as backup data) for RM30 per month
2. Celcom First Basic 38 to act as main data

Calls/Data: You have 30/31 ringgit every month and it is very likely for you to accumulate your credit unless you really call a lot. Set it to run on 2g and it will use Maxis's network icon_rolleyes.gif
Internet: Celcom will act as your main data, and if Celcom doesn't have coverage then you can use U Mobile as your backup
