One of my favourite... Prefer it over ff8 for the psx era ff.I finish it on psx emu back then and owned the vita psn version of this game.

My first FF game and my most fav. other version just weird to me.

Surprisingly i can view the page (Without preorder yet). I hope Square can remove that shiit on FF3->FF6. I can't buy it.

To be honest, i'm more expecting for FFX|X-2 HD remaster. I hope they can release it.

After the announcement i played the PS1 game again but tbh, in the PS1 era, I like 8 more. 9 is awesome, but didnt really like trance system. And triple triad > tetra master.

agree, i like card games on ff8 better than ff9

you should playwed pc version tho, native widescreen is too good to be passed!

Models are fine, but backgrounds are pretty terrible;



Will need some third party filters to fix. But sweetfx doesn't work, so... yeah.

Is there anyway to remove the side borders? (ie. stretch the display instead)

yeah the background looks ugly but the story & gameplay is still tons of fun.

i dunno what genius mapped the controls for the xbox though. X should be CONFIRM & O should be CANCEL!

JP (APAC region) style always O = confirm, X = cancel

Yeah. Many people used rivatuner to reduce frame.

i got it without after many tries.


Many. But 1k jumps for a key item and achievement on steam.

Normal play I find it really impossible to press 1000 times without error.

My finger feel stuck and inactive after 200times not to mention the speed up there.

don't use gamepad. i used it and can't even reach 4 jumps not sure about the xbox controller tho. i use logitech F310

keyboard button X is so much easier.

thinking to buy a controller for this game. xbox one or ps4 better?

XBox or logitech suitable for PC , ps4 you need 3rd party driver.

Xbox cobtrollr is better for pc gaming as most game are mapped according to that controller already, just plug and play.

if i use xbox one controller to play

will the buttons in sword fight minigame between zidane and blank be showed as X, Y, A, B?

currently i'm using keyboard and cheap controller to play
it shows x, c, v, b on keyboard
