Hi,
Hopefully get some recommendation of laptop based on my needs.

1. Preferred Brand: any brand, but prefer HP due to Onsite service (I am HPE employee too smile.gif)
2. Budget: around RM4.5k
3. Usage: Adobe Lightroom for photo post processing, Microsoft office, youtube, non-gaming, web browsing
4. Preferred laptop/screen size: 13.3" only
5. Other preference : with ssd and able to run Windows 8.1 due to my office apps compatibility in I.E and Juniper Pulse VPN connection client.

So far I have shortlisted Envy 13-D045TU.
Is the Screen color accurate for photo editing without professional color calibration?

Thanks in advance.

Thanks for your recommendation.
128GB SSD is kind of small for me because i have many photos to store and waiting for process in lightroom.
I afraid 128GB is bottleneck, just like Iphone with 16GB.

Update: After i checked in Dell.com.my, the price is quite high sad.gif

By the way, HP Envy 13-D045TU with 3 years warranty, RM4399 from HP Employee Store.
I think quite a good deal smile.gif

You will need professional colour calibration if you wanna take the post processing seriously. You will definitely need it. Can't stress it more here. laugh.gif

The screen that is not calibrated usually has more contrast than the one which has calibrated. Personally experience here. Calibrate for the sake of your photos! laugh.gif

I am using Hp Elitebook 820, business laptop, the screen color is soooooo dull.
I hope this Envy is not that bad.

But I agree with you, I will explore the calibration kit. Any recommendation from you smile.gif

If the price is a concern, I think the Envy13 will work good for your LR work. Should be good enough imho. biggrin.gif
Spectre has a better quality build. But 128GB is really not gonna be sufficient for your photo storage. My 120GB SSD is a perfect example and I ended up getting an external hard disk for storage. laugh.gif

Yes, 128GB is not enough.
I think the price for Envy 13 is good enough for my non professional usage smile.gif
