Looking for a laptop. Any recommendation?

1. Preferred Brand: toshiba asus dell
2. Budget: 2K to <3K
3. Usage: office works, CAD works, photo editing, games (dota2, csgo)
4. Preferred laptop/screen size: 15
5. Other preference:
a. intel i7 processor (best if quad core)
b. do not require touchscreen
c. do not require 360 flip type
d. preferably with optical drive

My bad. It is K401LB. Slightly older version that comes with Windows 8.1 and 5th gen broadwell i5. The new K401U comes with Windows 10 and 6th gen Skylake i5. Almost similar but different by rm100. biggrin.gif

Don't know much about Cheras. Sorry. Can't help sad.gif

So I've doing some hunting online for the Dell Inspiron 7447. Sadly I can only find the i5/500gb hdd version. I'll try to keep looking for the i7/1tb version, but are there any alternatives around the rm3k bracket?

but best is top up another RM 400 get dell inspiron 7559 (RM 3399)
newer processor and better graphic card

n551zu is using amd processor and graphic card, not really recommended
as for k756, don't think asus malaysia are selling them

I saw at Digital Mall PJ got the Inspiron 7447 i7-4720HQ variant for rm3.8k. Wayy overbudget.

What about the Lenovo Y40-80? Any thoughts?
Also any idea if the Lenovo Y700 14-inch is coming to malaysia?

not really not that good, just whether you can accept AMD or not
as right now laptop mainly are using intel processor and nvidia graphic card

mainly slightly save battery and better performance
from the example you mention, better get i7 as i7 got hyper-threading
