I'm interested to get a new laptop since my current laptop is 5+ years old already. Recently the gfx card died and will cost around RM160+ for "reballing". It'll work I hope but wont be sustainable in the near future.

Thus interested in a new laptop. I believe I should wait for the latest technological advancement in gfx card to come out first such as the GeForce 1000 series. Waiting for the mobile versions. I'm a gamer. Do any of u guys know when that might be?

Not worth to repair laptop above 5 yrs.
Its worth to wait for upcoming Nvidia Pascal or AMD Polaris gpus with very significant leap in performance and power efficiency. Stay tune for their announcement during coming Computex on 31/5/16. brows.gif

New GPU have better performance/energy efficient
1070 is as powerful as titanx rclxm9.gif
Maybe 1060 could be as powerful as 970/960 & cheaper
Plus..more updates on driver too
