Thanks for the comments neoro.

Well, I'll to figure out that later on #9 and #10. Yup, the bridge is in use. Not really dangerous cause there is a maintainace folks parking behind me to act as a "barrier"  laugh.gif

Also, to all the sifus looking at my gallery, any tip for night shots? Do I need to get speed light ? Cause, Rm1k+ is quite pricey... I did a few night shots, all very crappy. Any advice would be highly appreciated!

Flash Photography is a whole new area, so I would advice you to hold on first and make use of the built in flash at the moment.

If your pictures are stills, then a tripod would be more than sufficient, maybe a remote release (200-300 or 2nd hand @ FTZ ) may better suited ( Fireworks ** Hint Hint New Years)

Aside from that, there are also motion, with a steady hand or once again a tripod, works wonders at night.

Remember a flash, takes up storage space, you'll require additional batteries, probably a diffuser ( Lightshpere tongue.gif ) and added weight to your setup. That and a lil' more effort on your savings may result in a 50mm F1.4 instead tongue.gif

Thanks for the advice neoro. Well, I took a photo of a procession (people walking) the other night. Here's the picture what I meant.

#20 Ok, this first try, a bunch of peeps walking down the street without flash

#21 This shot, same location but now with built-in flash

#22 Another shot without flash.

Any suggestion to improve such situation? sad.gif

Yeah, I tried to use tripod the other night too but it seems I have to get use to it.

Also, what does lightsphere help in taking night shots?

depand what nightshot u talking about... event indoor u might need it... but if u say outdoor... i prefer not to use the flash as the flash might not even help u up if u tele.

try play around with ISO, shuttle speed and Aperture. is time for u to learn how to control light.

to boost u up... try this

the cause of ya picture shake is because of the shuttle speed. and the cause of ya shuttle speed slow down because u do not have enough light.

u can try this.

1. adjust aperture to the lowest u can.
2. adjust ya ISO to 400 and 800.
3. never reduce ya shuttle speed below 1/80.

i have tried in midnight shot at klcc. a 50mm f1.8, ISO400 and shuttle speed 1/60 is possible for building lighting.

u must know ya handshake level. max i can make it stable is 1/60. by knowing that u will know ya have to remain every photo u take remain at that shuttle speed or higher.

remember... faster shuttle speed less light. it's still light that makes the matter.
